Bill H.
Last Year I got a 2003 VW Passat from my Niece, who needed a bigger car..................I fell in love with it, SO I got a second 2001 VW Passat Wagon to haul Bikes and stuff with............Nothing Fancy, but I know they are Safe Cars. When I changed vehicles on my auto policy, from a 2002 Chevy Cavilar, to my 2001 VW Passat- my Insurance Went Down 50% simply because of the better Safety Rating ! So Boring Is Good. Jay481985
I had a nice Infiniti G20 2002 that was really nice and such till some a hole decided to drink and drive and hit me into the ditch and never stop to see if I was dead. He hit me from the left and spun me backwards into a tree. Car totaled in June right before the Klipsch Pilgrimage.

A friend of mine was almost killed in a slow speed side-impact crash while driving a VW Passat. He drives something else now. Drivers affect the cost of insuring a particular vehicle, among other things. For example, my insurance premium dropped by 50% in 1978 because of my 25th birthday. The car was the same, a 1977 Corvette.
