Yep I know this is an older post. I agree 100% with the Dire Straits votes…I’d go with the self titled debut album though. Another one to consider a few tracks from Dave Brubek—Time Out. The track Take Five will help you hear the separation of instruments in the system

Chris…although we don’t know each other…I have a pair of Forte IIs that contain your K Stack. They are amazing speakers. Welcome back and as an “old guy” I try not to let the intraweb bickering bother me too much 😁😁

I am looking for a schematic for the KP2002-C2 network. Any Idea's?

Whenever I have thought about buying something made to order I communicate with the company and ask questions. Due diligence and all that. I don't necessarily agree with how things are handled, but obviously it hasn't hurt his business. It was a big thing all over the internet quite a while back and he put forth some effort to address it at that time, as for the lack of an attention getting warning front and center on their website his business/his name/his choice and orders keep coming in. Everyone that owns a small business has to make decisions and do what they think is best for them. I guess the bottom line is you feel the issue is more on Decware and I feel it is more on the customer.
-
What would be be more respectful is if Decware openly addressed the issue that there is an over 5 year waiting list prior to accepting more orders. Say SOMETHING..........I don't know what...........but it is surprising it has come to this point and they don't address this openly on their site. The other issue is I can't honestly believe that people keep ordering. I guess they have no idea. Imagine the amps that will be coming out over the next 5 years that you could buy instead. I'm surprised some Chinese company hasn't figured this out and started cranking out copies in mass.

I find the SET thing a bit boring Not much Base -
We call those "concrete blocks" or "cinder blocks" because some are still made with bottom ash from coal burning plants. They are commonly used for exterior walls below ground and earth retaining walls. Also used for exterior house walls in coastal areas in the Deep South.
-
They aren't small speakers by any standard but I would still put them in the "punch way above their weight" category!!
-
I see the Fortes as the Goldilocks model, the perfect Klipsch product for the most people. Great sound, great looks and they are far less room restrictive than other heritage models (LaScala, Khorn and Cornwall).

I know it's not on your list, but I just refinished a set of quartets if you're interested in the baby of the family. It has the Crites upgraded crossovers and Ti tweeters, upgraded 10" woofers, cabinet bracing between the woofer and mid, and I refinished the cabinet in a beautiful color that I've done on several other speakers showcased in the forum. I just thought I would throw it out there as an option. -

Sold! ($575 locally): Klipsch RF-5 in Custom Finish! $500
Iteachstem replied to Iteachstem's topic in Garage Sale
I sold the set to a local guy that really wanted a pair after his friend told him this was a great deal on a great speaker! He had a smaller set of Klipsch speakers and it was time for him to move up! I'm glad I could help!
