  3. Edwards Electronics on EBAY maybe? Email them and see if they will fix for you. Or @ngen33r ?
  4. ? then your jumper is not a zero ohm short.....
  5. I turned it on yesterday and it went pop! 😕 I see quite a few posts with people that are technical enough to fix this, but I know that I am not! Anyone here willing to take a shot? Just PM me and we can work something out to make it worth your while. Or, maybe recommend a place somewhere that I can send it to get it fixed? It's a great unit and sad if this is what kills it.
  6. Update- looks like a bad cap was the issue. I had some 2.0 caps from a crossover rebuild kit I got from JEM audio for another pair of speakers, so I put them in and it has output now. Sound is improved but- depending on the tracks played it seems to be a bit of crackle at lower volumes that go away at higher levels- go figure? wonder is 1. Bad diaphragms? 2. Ferrofluid- is it in there? can it dry out? Switched amps btw since this started (issue was same with either amp used), now running a NAD 1300/2600 pre-amp-amp stack- it's quite powerful at 150 wpc rms and lots of current capacity. musically it is just loafing at regular listening levels.
  7. at the first connection point there is signal output, at the other end of the cap nothing.
  8. I can certainly ask her. I'll try to contact her today.
  9. I’m sure that most of you know that I roast my own coffee This photo is of one of my many roasts

  13. Do you think she might sell one pair?

  15. Here is the "short" version of the Eight Cardinal Points. If you want to read Paul's full IRE paper on them, there is a PDF of it attached in this thread: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/46835-article-eight-cardinal-points-by-pwk/.
  16. It was the nickname PWK gave to the MCM 1900 System per @kharmondds: "Your explanation sounds strangely familiar to what is called in layman's terms, "Motengator syndrome," after the motengator, generally accepted as being the meanest animal on the planet. The motengator has the head of an alligator at one end, and the head of a crocodile at the other, and the reason he's so mean, is because he can't defecate. Paul Klipsch had an incredible vocabulary, I had to look up the meaning of motengator years ago because I didn't know what the term meant. This must be why he used motengator to describe the mcm 1900 stacks. Kevin"

  18. Maxed out the RAM on my iMac. No pictures I yanked the old and in with the new. Nothing like a new computer at a fraction of the cost.

  20. I had Cornwall Is and when I was upgrading, I was torn between the Cornwall IVs and Forte IVs. After researching and watching demo/comparison videos it came down to, if you have the space, go with the Cornwall IV. Since I had already owned Cornwalls, I knew I had the space, so Cornwall IVs it was.
  21. Paul's nickname for Roy was "Señor Delgado." A Motengator is a mythical creature that looks like an alligator. Per PWK it doesn't have an anus and thus has a surly disposition.
