This was the shop at abot 4:00.... me and the BOSS just getting ready to roll out....worked on the plow truck for the used car lot...got my cars out back. Put that nice 79 Accord in the shop...The used car guys cleard the lot....stuck all the cars out back...they have about 30 cars... Got home and worked on the WheelHorse tractor....got the blower and cab on it....will do the house here and load it on my trailer and do the shop lot when it's done snowing... Check in later.... Maid came back in last night just before we were going to sleep and ask if we wanted breakfast. Sure, you will know when we get up, aint nobody sleeping when i warm the Macs. Rick should roll in monday, then we will decide what to do next, come to think of it, iv NOT even ask the wife lately Caught up on "likes" sitting here in the Easy Chair W/Laptop/Irish coffee. "Likes" Maxed out. May go down to Thunderbird cove Golf course and tag-in with a team who is short handed. Last time i played down here was a few years back, half way through 18, the guy im on the course with turned out to be the of Owner of CircusCircus. P.S. The maid lives in the Guest house P.S.S. Hey! Stocks suck lately, what the hell is up with that? Called in to my broker last week on unrelated business, he thought i was calling to SELL! WTF? Have not sold in 18+ years, $4.77Per Share, as of yesterday, man that sucks.

Happy Saturday folks. Hate to report sad news .....our coffee maker croaked this morning. Fortunately we have a back-up. Gotta hit the road and get a new one. Better Half Unit is determining what brand and color I need to get and she will report her findings soon. Looks like we have a reversal of fortunes with the East coast. Temps in the 50's and sunshine. The news reports from the East sorta remind me of our blizzard in '03 or '04, except we had much more snow. i recall drifts up to the top of our 6' privacy fence. Denver was effectively shut down for a couple of days which is rare. You East coasters will do just fine ... just stay put and declare a holiday! Have a good weekend everyone. Cheers to all.

Morning gang.... Just a quick post with some pic's.....have not taken a yard stick to the snow yet....I say about 20" or so...weather man says were not close to done....will be snowing all day. I took the blower out last night to see if it all works...I was having problems with the tire chain on the left side hitting the brake system...seems to be ok.... worked good with just 4" or so on the drive way.... Oh the weather man just said...24" in Westminster...that's were the shop is....our house is 11 miles South of the shop... So me and the Boss are at the house all by ourselves....hmmmm wonder we'll do... OK....check in later... MKP :-)

Well it's horrible we don't get to meet you in person, but stuff happens to all of us at times when you least expect it.

Afternoon gents. Went to see 13 Hours on this cool, rainy, Friday. Kind of intense. Having 3 fingers of Evan Williams small batch. My bud from Hollywood will be coming in tonight. He is a producer and will be doing a film based on Seal Team 6. Probably going to be a lot of drinking from now till June You folks stay warm and have a great weekend. Good Saturday afternoon everyone.... Just went through the week long postings .... Took me about a half hour !!! Anyway, that snow looks like what we get here in western MA. But I look out the window and nothing but green grass everywhere ! CRAZY ! I was watching a live stream on the LT last night and this morning from WJLA Arlington VA. Was a bit of a hoot with all those reports from on the road reporters.... Well, I am enjoying another LIVE concert from the Berlin Philharmonic which again, is excellent! HD stream coming from the Sony BluRay and watched on the new screen... Shot of the violin concerto with soloist.........and now the Schubert Symphony #2

Morning yet once more Wife cooked breakfast and the maid came in, guess we are spoiling the maid. She has never had anyone prepare her breakfast before, meanwile i wipped up some Memosa's. Everyone is a little tipsy right now. Will let the food settle and then post our "New" change of plans as of this morning. Hp Lap top seems to be doing ok since taking a minor Memosa bath :o

I snagged these beauties tonight! XF-48 x2, XL-2's with matching stands x2, XL-23, UUB-12HG and NAD T-757 3D receiver I have been wanting to try out these XF-48's for quite some time. They are much larger and beautiful that I was expecting! The build quality on these babies is remarkably, I especially like the aluminum cabinets. I won't have a chance to listen to them tonight but I am sure they will impress me more than the DT Supertowers I owned did. Supper pumped!

I'm sorry but if you aren't even trying to resist temptation early on...there really isn't any hope for you. The rabbit hole is deep I tell ya lol

P.S. This is one of the reasons i moved out of SoCal 24 years ago, i was well on my way to Waking up Dead.

Afternoon yet again Finding a little time to monitor the forum here. Man-0-Man there is some Fine Liq on site, got the Maduro going (Found-em) got to be carefull what im drinking here. There is stuff from all over the world here, called Rick and ask what can i have? he said whatever, he can get more.... Heading down to the Wine celler he wants me to Chill something for the wife. He also told me there is a 44Mag in the kitchen W/ snake loads, take that with me.... snakes!!! Chit. May try and talk Big Stew up here depending on how long we plan on roosting.

Wanted to start by saying great community here. I have lurked for awhile and searched topics etc relevant to work around the house with the equipment I own and as well as research future projects and product ownership. I am a close friend of WakeJunkie and have gotten to know Youthman a bit too through my knowing Wake (he is my wife's 1st cousin lol). I have been thoroughly please with the Klipsch equipment I own and currently have a system built in my living room. It is mostly used for theater style listening, but we jam music on it once in awhile as well. I will post a couple pics from the room a bit later on, some of you may have seen them already though because Wake built an indented spot into my ceiling for my center channel and seems like I saw that photo floating around here someplace! My set up has changed just a bit from when we did that work. Currently I have : RF82 ii as my fronts, RC52 , RS42 as surrounds and have yet to mount them but RB61 to use as rear; all of this driven by a Yamaha receiver (forget the model), and an HSU 12' amplified woofer. The start of this system was purchased down in Florida by Youthman and I have been very pleased! Cheers Mike

If you spring for an elevator, you will be making your home more livable when you and your wife get older. My opinion is that you might think about adding the feature and telling the family you did it for you and your wife so you can live there in your old age. I don't know if you can afford it, but a retirement home is pretty damn expensive. If you put in an elevator, make sure you use Klipsch for the elevator music. They get nicer with every pair you buy! What are the particulars with regard to year of production, drivers, crossovers etc. If you would have put grills on the last pair, you would not have had so much heart burn over the mismatched horns! Plus isn't this part 3?

I recently read an article on fusion reactors and the recent progress of this technology. It seems that businessmen are driving the advances in development rather than the academics these days. The reason is that when something is tried and works, the businessmen simply accept that it is working and move on to something else. When the academics try something and it works, they stop and try to figure exactly what's going on before continuing. That's how they keep their grants coming.

That's a fancy powered snow shovel you got there. I could have used it this morning. I've now shoveled 4x since noon yesterday. Much better to do several small dig-outs instead of one large one. Overnight we had about 6" of light fluffy snow. It's very easy to drive on if you have the ground clearance. My wife works at the hospital so she is "essential personnel" and had to be at work at 7:00a this morning. The mighty Honda CRV pulled right out of our steep driveway and had no problem with the deep snow, as our neighborhood association roads haven't been plowed since last night. I've always told her if the snow is deep enough to need a 4-wd you don't need to be going out 99% of the time. I guess today is that 1% of the time. Who has got some snow music, or some winter music? You won't be disappointed. I love mine. Never understood why these were short lived and never a hit. I assume because they are active as opposed to passive and the high retail price tag. I think they are the most elegant looking speaker Klipsch has made, after the palladium of course. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts once youve had some time with them! Enjoy!

Mornin' all. Hang in there all you East coasters. This too (the snow storm) will pass. We get blasted like that every couple of years and are usually up and running in 12 to 24 hours. For us, the worst of it is side streets and subdivisions, not main thoroughfares since we have the equipment to manage snow. Hope there's at least an element of 'drama' in the forecasts so it's more manageable for you. Back in a bit .... Happy Friday.

Hello Steve! Glad the procedure is over for you. They confirmed I had diverticula in my procedure. Nice to have that information in case of some pains later on that are elusive. Diverticulitis is the result of diverticula. Think I am right... Not suppose to eat small seedy foods or the like that can get lodged in the cavities. Maybe they just found a minimal bit of diverticula. In any case, I have foods that may not pass their list with no problem, so far.Good question for the doctor. Good fortune to you, as always and no pony kegs here, lol!

home now....I think I woke up during the procedure, I remember saying "I'm still awake" and the doctor saying to give me more fentanol. She cut two polyps and biopsied an area where the colon wall was thickening. My brother said she didn't seem too concerned about either. But that prep is FAR worse. Nurse said this stuff is new and is supposed to replace Carl's jug of chemical water.Was a bit shakey on my feet for a bit, but feel normal now ... Just real tired as hardly any sleep last night, Thanks for the well wishes folks,

I PROMISE I won’t give you guys play-by-play of what is about to happen; but, i will say that i just drank the worst tasting pre-colonoscopy drink. This is 2016 right? Of all the advances in flavoring, do things really have to taste that horrible? At the very least, how about a tasteless substance. Have to drink one more at 3:00 a.m. As i said to the doctor, “This is really going to happen isn’t it?"

Ahhhhh.....little front u-joint action going on in the Honda shop...... The used car guys give me so many u-joints and balls joint I had to get the bad a$$ Snap-on press Those guys have paid for thay thing 10 fold and then some....lol lol MKP :-)

Got an E-Ticket to a colonoscopy ride on Wednesday, and an encore with the dentist on Thursday. Well Carl was right, that's up alright. Between the two appointments I don't know which ones worse, One I am scared of, dentist and the other I have never had. I hope those doctors don't get his appointments mixed up.
