  8. Evening gang... Congrats on the new Kia Steve_S.... Kia /Hyundai are making some very nice cars now . There really giving Honda & Toyota a run for there money. I was at the shop all day today.... I buttoned the Pilot all up... put on the plastic covers and splash shield on the engine...DONE....500 miles on rebuild running great The rest of the day was spent cleaning up my "project bay" for the last several years I've had my 1987 CRX Si in this bay. I've done nothing but pile crapp in this bay under the car. I have hundreds of hours in this car and 1000's of dollars.....I've made a commitment to get this thing done!! This car has 85K miles on it and is 98% rust free. If I get it running this year and back to my buddies paint shop I'll be happy.. OK gang.....a good night to all.. MKP :-)

  11. Good evening my friends... Just reviewing some of the posts.... Ceptor, I LOVE the Behr product. I have a two toned deck as many have seen... I use the solid stain, and, horizontal surfaces are one color, verticals are the 'other!.... Today, we made our annual trip to the nursery and bought 7 hanging plants for the deck... LED spots are back in the fixtures to light them intensely after dark.. Hey Steve S. it is time to relax damit!, it is what I am doing here.... Playing a CD of fine bluegrass music from a band that opened up for us at a blues festival, made sure I Picked up one of their recordings! Got I very nice white vino going in the 'correct' glass as always... Tasting, feeling good on this Saturday night, hangin' here and over in RTM ;0)

  12. I picked up three 750 ml bottles of Chopin today for the gathering in Hope. They had inadvertently marked them down from 29.99/bottle to 19.95/bottle. When the cashier rang them up at full price, I told her they were on sale. One thing led to another and a manager was paged. Sure enough, they screwed up the label and took it down immediately. They honored the advertised price for me though! I've never gotten them that cheap before.

  13. Howdy all what's happening? Actually caught up on the previous pages. Will be posting some ***** cat pics as I think I figured it out with the Paint program, courtesy of reading the forum here and Nancy, who drugged me all over the place to the point of lunacy trying to help me. Explains a lot. Just finished some inside chores while the fiancé? is over at her sisters. I tend to get more done when the warden is absent... Listening to the Chorus today while working and streaming u-tube. Sounding pretty good nowadays. Just thought I would pass on through...Icehouse and 2 pints of Hiram Walker peppermint schnapps, just for fun. Try to post more when it makes some sense so...Cheers! Glad to read you are over the kidney situation and relaxing with your organ Chuck. Sorry to read about your guitarist friend. Nice place there Tarheel. All those going to Hope and Rodney's, I am sure you will enjoy. Dude®, thinking you have solved the music setup while camping. Hope so!

  32. They gave the Prius a huge challenge all being in boxes, but they all made it in (well with a bungie cord holding the trunk closed). All packaging, except for one missing manual and one middle styrofoam piece. It was a very LONG day in the car. 400mi ea way.

  34. I don't know. Most people who are doing mods seem to like using the 5.5" port tube instead of the 3" tube, I've never heard the version 2 or 3. In general people seem to think it is easy to retro-fit the version 2 to a v1, and the version 3 takes more modification with the port tube and some crossover values. John have you seen the Klipsch Epic Owners thread? It covers a LOT of the mods people do, in detail. https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/159405-klipsch-epic-owners-group/?hl=%2Bepic+%2Bowners

  36. S Willliams' local boys including manager were less than clueless. Both of the others recommended Thompson's. Picked up a pressure washer that was adjustable up to 2800 so I'll start low with wide nozzle and some distance; I ruined a deck once. Checking out Pete's recommendations. That's a shame. Around here, MAB, S Williams, and Porter all have rest service, that's where the pro painters go. I wouldn't trust anything with Thompson's name on it. Their waterproofing is complete junk. If I had to get paint from the box stores, Behr from HD would be my choice.

  39. My mistake, I did completely misread what you said, and I am sorry for the confusion. I didn't realize that you were comparing an official CD release of the same performance to the one straight from the board. I thought you were comparing the live sound to what was output from the mixing board for comparison. Looking back at your post, and Oldtimer's initial responses, I don't know how I was so far off. Lol, no problem. I was just curious how it all worked technically. My son sent me two songs from the concert and said which one do you like better. They sounded similar but one was better it was the one the mixer guy gave him off the laptop he had hooked to the mixer thing. He was pretty busy so he did not have much time to answer my techie questions. But it makes sense what you said about only being mono tracks and so many inputs. So i was trying to figure out how he did it so well. I read this post on recording from a mixer and a guy said "You can only do two channel from a mixer" The fellow that made the video corrected him telling him "Multi Track recording is no problem". So my guess is the concert had say 20 inputs into that mixer which I guess could in theory yield 20 different tracks or 20 different files. So he combined all those inputs either in the laptop or in something before the laptop and was able to make it like a stereo Flac file. I swear he was using audacity on the laptop too. I'm not familiar with what was needed all I know is the file he made sounds very good and better than most concert CDs I have heard. I guess I opened a can of worms in asking how, its a little more involved that I thought. Maybe somewhere on that table he had a hard drive and did have all 20 tracks and mixed them to be sent to the laptop.

  40. Yup, you want the high frequency echoes to die down before the low frequency echoes. The curtains, area rug and sofa help with that. As for the SVS subs the PB's are a bigger and ported. The SB's are small and sealed. Either would be good for TF2.
