Had no idea, well that makes sense and easy for you to remember. Easy to remember is why I have mine 15 years ago being on no other forums I needed something I could remember. Down To Earth Landscapes.4 points

I'm good. [emoji4][emoji106] Fun! Well, at my summer job after my freshman year of college - staff member at a church camp but don't get any ideas, it was still Meatballs level - we would get much of our food from a food bank. Out of date or close to out of date stuff, you know. One day, the boss brings in a case of mangoes. I had never had them and they were perfectly ripe. So I tried one. Then I ate them all over the course of the next two days...it became a thing and the kitchen staff teased me, calling me Mango. This was before it was a given for people to have internet at their homes, and I only had my school email address. The head of the kitchen tells me I should get a private email account. I had no idea how so he set it up for me because the camp office had internet: mango_111@hotmail.com (the 111 was my dorm room number). I lost the address years ago. Flash forward a few years and I joined a forum after an irl friend turned me on to an irc chatroom for said forum. When I wanted the username mango for irc it was taken, so in my pouting about it, I came up with mangofirst because I was mango first...this also ties in to the fact that I was mango before the popularity of the Chris Kattan SNL character if the same name. 🤷♀️ So that's my username story. Thanks for asking.4 points

I've been on the phone with them for about an hour... they cannot confirm serialization. They have 8 pairs left so thats 64 possible combinations minus 4 correct combinations .3 points

yes it is a great feeling, I had it before a long time ago with a pair of Acoustic Energy AE1 Classics speakers, I actually felt nervous when I hit the play button, praying they would sound amazing and they did 😄3 points

100% of the cabinets (except the laundry) are cherry. And a lot of our furniture also. So I'm leaning towards cherry. I love natural cherry how it just darkens and mellows with age and UV exposure.2 points

The finish looks stunning. La Scalas have long been known for their classy wood finishes but I agree, there is something special about the Anniversary editions!2 points

You don’t need 300 watts to drive sensitive Klipsch speakers Don’t fall in that trap of - bigger is better -2 points

It's still a great feeling, it's not like things like this happen often, for most people anyway. Some people are trying out things regularly, but a new pair of speakers that you have not heard yet, that's exciting.2 points

Tomatoes are one of my favorite parts of summer! I only recently started perusing the local farmer's market...got some of those purple beans that turn green when you steam them, some yellow squash, a couple of mild purple peppers, and of course, as many fresh tomatoes as I could afford and my stomach could handle; I didn't eat much else that week. Aaand I crocheted myself a "French market" style bag to take next time. Only problem is, it's super stretchy...[emoji857][emoji383][emoji765]2 points

I was just guessing, much more than I was thinking, if for some reason you get delirious from driving and miss a turn and end up down this way stop overnight for a break, just make sure we're home.2 points

not yet Starting to get excited. I leave mid Sept. It will be Oct. before they get home.... July and August go by fast. Rainy season is exciting. It will be slowing down about the time I take out on this cross country trek. Elden, they're closer to 2000 than 1000. 1800 or 1900 miles to be more precise. I'll drive it w/o a map. Used to go to Chicago [Alsip] every 8 days from Nogales.2 points

The rating is in Vdc. Crossovers pass AC. I never did get around to trying to figure out how that works exactly! Maybe with your speakers! Yes, I recommend that capacitors be changed out at the end of each month!2 points

The XLR cables going to the inputs on the crossover will be RCA-->male XLR. The ones from the crossover outputs to the amplifiers are female XLR-->RCA. This assumes that all of your current connections are RCA. All the configuring of channel inputs to channel outputs, crossover filters,, EQ, and channel gains/limiters are done in firmware/software in the DSP crossover. DSP crossovers are general purpose devices that can be reused over and over again for any audio application, even if you're only using them to perform EQ, limiting, and/or channel gain while mono-amping, without crossover filters being required. I used the flash. Light through windows bright. I love my LaScalas. 1973 vintage. They were previously used in a disco. Had them for 15 years sound amazing at 110db! Some say lacking in bass may be true for techno hip hop and rap but amazing for real music. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

^ No... there is nothing wrong sonically so I just live with it. OP... there is a right and left match of the top hats to the bass bins in terms of veneer so take a look and make sure your veneer lines up correctly. your gonna need a bigger space1 point

Welcome and glad you are liking them. That's alot of dampening on the walls, has it been like that for a while or you added a little at a time ? Just wondering, you don't see that much very often.1 point
