  1. CSN even before Y joined some of the best harmonies ever! I looked for this LP one time a year or so ago after getting a working tt for the first time since about 2008. It wasn't there, obviously found a new home at some point in my hazy past. Just got it off the front porch! It was on my mind last night talking about Exit Stage Left as both were clean and good for a live LP released back then. You Get What You Play For when Reo rocked!

  2. Hello!!!! Long time no post, CSN, at their best, Cincy PS.. I’m listening to this through the set of Heresy III's I bought to support the Klipsch Heritage Museum. I think Chief Bonehead sprinkled fairy dust on these things...

  3. My first set of Klipsch speakers were F2's. Really didn’t like them. La Scalas were next. Liked those very much. Now it’s H3's and Khorns. Khorns are very good.

  5. $30 per pound for lake perch? I think I'll go to Costco and get some filet mignon and lobster tails.....

  6. Actually, a pair will need two corners! There are ways around this. Enclosing the backs, building corners. Having a relatively large room with high ceilings helps too. First set of speakers I've ever had where I thought about turning down the bass. Didn't do it though.

  15. Those sliders are triple pane sealed panels. I think the drywall would vaporize before the doors shattered! The subwoofer will rattle the whole room if something explodes while watching a movie. Those Khorns were rebuilt by Dave Harris of Fastlane audio. Dave took down his website recently or I'd post a link to the page he had showing the rebuild. I think I'm the third owner since the rebuild. They're very good looking and sound nice with the the modifications Dave made. Cincy

  17. @cincymat You're not missing a thing with those RB? Khorns. Gotta know, if you turn them up will the glass in your sliding glass door ripple? Reason I ask is: when I was a teen my best friends dad had a balanced/blueprinted tri-powered `65 GTO. In neutral in front of the Zayre's once he revved it and those 8 X 12' big glass panes rippled like they were water. The people up front inside jumped and looked up at the same time. Similar principle in play, just curious.

  18. A high flow cat for my car. It basically flows just about the same as a straight pipe yet has a 200 cell cat so no check engine light and it will pass emission testing.

  19. Grandson who's 6 nite before and granddaughter(9), last nite... He was a pain and didn't want to do anything but screw around so I traded him for Lilly... We decided to grab my buddies son, drive an hour north and hit the big State Park on Lake Erie yesterday. Kids swam for 4 hours, ate almost 2# of Lake Erie perch n fries after. Perch is selling for $30 a pound deep fried up there. Hit a new play yard @ the local park after, then shelled out $6.75 each for ice cream and they ate both huge scoops. I felt like a possum staring into a sea of headlights driving home... Finally crashed about 11:30 and she was up and ready to go @ 7:15 this morning. She's been ready to go since then but I told her I was having coffee. Maybe TWO pots before I cane even think about moving. Think they'll eat today? HAHAHA! Prolly!

  21. Wish you could hear them here. That cover is ruined, but the record is vg. A vg pressing too, the mumps on the F3 mids are all they were cracked up to be.

  29. Got them, they sounded absolutely perfect. He even had the receipt for them he had found from Fry's where they were purchased in December. There was one blemish however and it had happened it was obvious when he was moving the boxes around sometime recently. There's a small press on the cabinet on the left side front corner but in my room where it will be it will not even be seen. He knocked off some more for that so I am happy camper with them

  30. I only used the Xconsole. Very user friendly. The Xilica front panel has been cumbersome by comparison. But once the settings were done I never touched it.

  33. Just bought one of these Sherbourn amps for my computer speakers. Is 200 wpc too much for a pc speaker?....lol Sherbourn's TST 2/200. The Class AB power amp can drive up to eight pairs of stereo speakers and is rated to deliver 200 watts per channel to four pairs or 100 watts to all eight, both into 8 ohms. There are both RCA and balanced XLR input connectors and gold-plated binding-post outputs. The amp uses "thermal shift" technology, which automatically switches between three levels of output voltage to match the speaker impedance, guarding against overheating. An infrasonic filter removes low-frequency content that could cause distortion. The front panel has only a master power button, a blue LED pilot light, and eight on/off switches for the speaker pairs. Price: $1,000. 36. The Seller sounds cooperative and has given you all the right answers. I don't sense any red flags and I am usually very skeptical. I say go over there, give him the $400 and throw the boxes in the back of the car. Let us know how you like them.

  42. Inquisitiveness prompted me to retrieve my flashlight, which led to the garage for steel wool and an old toothbrush, with the hot water running and a 2 minute sink hose spray down.... however, somehow I'm compelled to investigate the heating elements further under the interior, even if it involves my reciprocating dewalt saw.... I've only used the water on the front door of my refrigerator, each morning, because it has a nice filtering device, so the inside was clean (kind of) as the spillway at the lake....
