My chili came in 2nd place. Not bad for being the spiciest of the bunch.

We won’t even have a description. just bowl A,B,C,D, etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if mine was the hottest offering. Last year was a bunch of bland/sweet ground beef tomato soups with two random outliers that were different. My kids insisted that I sign up this year so they would have at least one chili they would really like… It can’t be that hot if my kids eat it, right?

I've been in a couple of chili cook-offs. One thing I learned ... call the spice level Medium, even if it is red hot lava. You don't want to scare people from trying it.

Those trainers at OSU turn the lights on in the morning and off in the evening. Seems as though we always have one or two Olympic trainers on staff. Mike Borders and Billy Hill are the last two that I know of. The kids are there doing all the ankle taping for the players and anything else that needs to be done. Lots go into the NFL because they love their job but when you step into that realm of players the price goes up. Crazy the amount of medical staff that are either on the field or right down front w/easy access.

These are decent drivers, especially for the price! I run two of these in 3cu.ft. sealed cabinets paired with RF-7II's for my music system with very good results. (Driven by a crown K1... they need a little power to get going.)

There are, to be honest, some on here who do have these or similar in their homes, and not in huge rooms. They work well at lower volumes with the same clarity and dynamics.

Even though I am in my early 60s I want to join OSU as a trainer with good old Aussie thinking or rough tough and unbreakable And I will do it for peanuts because OSU is my team and that’s what real fans do @Dave1291 can be my proxy manager to get me in 🤘

I'm the guy that bought them. Back in January, they were the very first set of La Scalas in this finish. Not sure if there are any more now, but sooner or later I'm sure someone else will order a pair in this custom finish. BTW, they look even better in person 😀

She said a shot or two is OK... What bothers me, is craving it. Dinner is looking like fast food. Shrimp fills the bill. Seafood and steak are, what I call, fast food. 15 minutes from freezer to mouth.

Working on my home theater... Using a Klipschorns, a Heresy for center channel, RP-8000 for surround sound. These are driven by a Yamaha 8015 receiver. Looking to add rear speakers soon, but am very happy with the current configuration.

For Sale. More EV Cinema Speakers, only smaller. All OEM components. Dual 15 woofs with DH1A drivers on top crossed with passives at 500. I painted the mdf cabinets (still a bit rough), added grills, had a woofer professionally reconed, painted the horns. They sound fantastic. Price is $600.
