  1. McIntosh equipment is fine looking gear. Your setup looks very nice. Congrats!
  2. Thanks for the reply. I knew the vinyl portion would be easy with the grill providing the most time consuming portion. Thinking out loud (never a good idea in public but nonetheless...): I wonder if the entire grill assembly could be colored using a concrete type of stain. Paint would not work for obvious reasons but I wonder if the concrete stain, being thin like water, would work in this application. Color selection would not be an issue.
  3. Same thing happened to my parents recently except the service was Charter.
  4. Great job, Kevin! I love the two-tone look of the 60th anniversary K-Horns, very classy looking, IMO. Hopefully you're back to your normal sleeping arrangements now, eh? []
  5. colter-I have two pair of RS-7s in white. I know that the speaker could be painted very easily but what to do with the grill? Two reasons for asking this: 1) Christina could pick up a pair of used surrounds and paint them white (but would have to do something with the grill if she purchased a black pair) and 2) I may be interested in painting mine and am not quite sure what to do with the grills. Your thoughts/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
  6. Very impressive looking setup. Congrats on the new digs!
  7. My first motorcycle; got it in 1982. The metal gas tank was not very comfortable when coming to an abrupt stop. [+o(] and the bike I learned to ride on at my uncle's farm in the summer. The oversized tires made it a great starter bike.
  8. Wow! That guy is amazing!! His ability to deal with perspective is incredible. Thanks, Joe.
  9. Unless you get a PS3. Incredibly quick boot-up and load times. Joe-did you consider the PS3? I picked one up in December and love it. However, if you start thinking about returning your player and exchanging it for the PS3 you may want to wait a few weeks. I read somewhere (I think it was indyklipschfan; could have been srobak too) that a newer PS3 is coming out fairly soon.
  10. I am using a B&K Reference 7270 (same as the 200.7 which should be nearly identical to the 3220 methinks) and love the sound with my RF-7 setup. I had a Parasound amplifier in my system a while back but it was used to power the surrounds so I cannot comment on it.
  11. Hey Scooterdog, good to see you posting. The room is looking great! I like the new furniture-what brand did you go with?
  12. Gotcha. I seem to recall that acousticsounddesign was, at one time, an unauthorized dealer but am reasonably sure that they are now authorized. You could almost say they were granted amnesty. []
  13. I believe that they are a licensed dealer but I would check with Klipsch prior to purchasing anything.
  14. I must have missed the other thread, thanks for posting. That's quite a collection of gear you have going! Any pics of your theater available?
  15. 1909 after WAYYY too many tries. Pretty cool.
  16. Was this the infamous game where the television coveraged switched to something else just before the comeback?
  17. Did I hear correctly that only one dealer per state will be "licensed" to carry the Palladiums?
  18. I'm not exactly sure which adapter you will need but there are a number of them on the infocus website. http://www.infocus.com/Accessories/Cable.aspx
  19. You'll be the favorite family friend for a while, that's for sure! He's going to love that; awesome thing for you to do. If you wind up giving away any Klipsch speakers, I've got a neighbor that you should meet! []
  20. Congrats! Those speakers are just striking, I really love the appearance! How do you like the sound?
  21. That's why I picked up the 40 gig unit. I love it on the 93" screen. Even at 720p it looks incredible!
