oldtimer
Sorry to hear about a record being broken. I had a severely warped one once and tried to fix it but ruined it instead so I feel your pain. BTW, tomatoes are an American fruit. Native only to the Americas and brought to Europe from here. GWSmith
Here then in this photo, I have washed and cut the long piece of fish into two sections for our dinner. They are coated in XVOO and seasoned with a 'Rub From Hell' rub of herbs and hot pepper spices.. I added pink sea salt and fresh ground pepper to that... Set aside in the fridge..... GWSmith
Who say's one can't grill during a New England winter?? The natural gas grill has been placed into winter position by the door slider for a short walk in the deck snow..... Here is a darkish photo of the cod freshly placed on the grill..note the reflection of our LED Christmas lights on the stainless.. GWSmith
This photo shows some vegan sour cream which I mixed in some curry and 'Herbes de Provence' for added flavor. This will go on the baked russet potatoes....
GWSmith
Here, the russets are cross scored on top with a birds beak knife, and will go into a 1200watt micro wave for 9 minutes which cooks them very nicely (0:
GWSmith
A shot of our place setting.
