There's no fire or passion here anymore, and controversial discussion is mostly avoided for fear of offending anyone - what a bunch of pansies. I have no problem disagreeing with anyone (in this thread Dean and wstrickland) but you will not see me resort to calling someone a "pansie" as I think that's rather childish. I stopped name calling when I was 12. I just believe there is a right and a wrong way of doing things. Maybe it's my morals, my values and my personal convictions but regardless, I treat others as I prefer to be treated. Kindness, gentleness and meekness in my book does not equate to weakness. It's actually much easier to "speak our minds" than it is to think through what we are saying before we actually say it. Even in this post, I went back and read over my comments and deleted and edited them prior to hitting Post as I am careful and selective of my words. It's not that I'm fearful that I might offend someone, it's that there is no reason to try and offend someone. With that said, I do not believe that we all have to be of the same opinion. We live in a free world and are all free to have and share our own opinions. That's a great and wonderful privilege. It's how we choose to share that freedom that makes the difference. It has been pretty calm for a few years, that little bit in the garage and two channel the last few days is pretty mild. While I understand civility those old conversations were great reading and very interesting. I was also disappointed when some were banned, except the porno dude,lol. I also understand Klipsch point of view as it did not really help them. I also understand Youths point, you can disagree without being disagreeable, but we're all only human. [Y] I am from the South and do not bother with speaking correctly, being comfortable is more important and I do not care if I sound stupid with the words I use. I have friends from South Louisiana who make me sound like I am an English Major, think I speak funny, you have not seen anything. With that being said I even told djnick "you know you make yourself look dumb talking like that". [] If you sound dumb enough that I can say that to you, and it makes sense, your in bad shape !
