It was never my intention to not attribute this recipe to your family. I have to admit that I am not entirely certain why it didn’t when you looked at it. The proper acknowledgement was in place last year as you can see from the Internet Archive:

In the recent site design changes it must have been removed. I apologize and have restored The Welch Clan as authors of this recipe.

Again, I am sorry that this has happened. If you would prefer the recipe removed I fully understand.

It would have been nice if you had given credit to our family (The Welch Clan) for this recipe. I posted this years ago and you even have the nerve to copy my exact words concerning usage, tasting, etc. I ask that you either give credit or take it down.

Be specific.  Pure chili powder or that crappy mix labeled as chili powder?

I find that the mix labeled as chili power works quite smashingly if shifted through certain carpet.

Evening all,

Just got back from a great dinner with The BOSS, youngest daughter, son, his girlfriend, my mom and dad, and two of our good friends. It was a birthday celebration for me and my youngest daughter.  My eldest daughter stop in the restaurant with my two grand kids just to say hi.  We had dinner at this Japanese steak house that we go to quite a bit. We know most off the staff & owner so we don't have to behave.  Also had a good day at the shop.

I would attribute the up-tick in auto service to the early summer travel season, no?

I've stopped trying to figure it out and just enjoy the fact that we have traffic through our drive.

For real.... My busiest month ever at the shop has been a December. Go figure, I don't know how or why. It used to be that tax return time and the beginning of summer "was" the busiest time but it's just not so any more.

I'm a day late but happy birthday MKP.  Dinner with family and friends and a good day at the shop.  Well done!

Heading out at 7:30 for breakfast with friends from junior high, high school, little league base ball, and the neighborhood.
