Don Richard
One of the best guitar players I've ever heard. RIP, brother. Edited July 17, 2014 by Don Richard
Sancho Panza
Rest in Peace. For those who want to understand the Blues, I suggest a trip to & through the Mississippi Delta is necessary. If you plan your trip for the Winter, (no pun intended), a day car trip from Memphis to Vicksburg, with only a few stops, will suffice, if you don't have more time. If you go when everything is green & growing, it will take much longer to experience. Leland Mississippi Blues One of my all time favorites. Saw him with Johnny Winter And band 3 or 4 times. Rest In Peace Johnny be good. Edited July 17, 2014 by Sancho Panza

CECAA850
Born in Beaumont, TX That's what I originally thought but couldn't find anything to back it up. Should have gone with my first guess. Thanks for the correction Bruce.
Sancho Panza
Original link said he was born in Mississippi; which is not true. http://www.mswritersandmusicians.com/musicians/johnny-winter.html Edited July 17, 2014 by Sancho Panza
CECAA850
I knew he and his brother lived here in his younger years and went to school here. It was way before I moved here in 1980 though.
