jason str
Not a big drinker really but sometimes its good to have a few. My favorites: By the glass, ET & Coke. Fill glass with ice. Fill cup 40% full with Early times and top off with Coke or diet Coke if you prefer ================================================================ Grandpa's Whiskey sour, by the blender full. Add 8-10 OZ of Early Times. Fill blender 35-40% with ice. Add 2 heaping tablespoons of frozen concentrated lemonade. Add 2 heaping tablespoons of frozen concentrated orange juice Fill most of the blender with 7-UP or Sprite (diet is OK). Blend slowly & carefully as the carbonation in the soda can blow out everywhere, once this calms down blend until ice is chopped then you can top off the blender with more soda or ice and do a final mix. Also good frozen as a slushee, just store in the freezer. You can also sub brandy for the whiskey. You could also use your favorite whiskey but it seems a waste to buy expensive stuff & mix it down IMHO. Ceptorman
Crown and Coke is always a good choice for me. My sister usually makes a fruity punch bowl drink at parties. Tastes like Koolaid but will have a quart of some high powered 151 Rum or Everclear in it! Vapors will come off of it!

Quiet_Hollow
The ubiquitous Upper Peninsula-style Whiskey sour: Over a rocks glass filled with ice - 1 jigger of Canadian Mist or Kessler whiskey - top off with Squirt, 50/50, or Sour Pow'r - dash of bitters - garnish with two olives on a tooth pick ...or if you're feeling spendy, the national version: Over a highball filled with ice - 2 jiggers of Makers Mark whiskey - top off with Sweet n' Sour - garnish with a cherry or an orange slice

Thaddeus Smith
I've become a fan of two drinks... The Sidecar 1 Part Contreau 1 Part Brandy 1 Part freshly squeezed Lemon Juice Shaken with ice until you think you've shaken it enough, and then shake it some more. Strain and serve. and then good ol fashioned Gin and Tonic.

Quiet_Hollow
If you're feeling international here's a really good Caipirinha recipe: - Slice up an entire medium-sized lime and place into a lowball glass - Add 4 tbsp of sugar and muddle - Top off with ice - then pour in jigger of Leblon Cachaça (Ypióca is OK too) - top off with a dash of tonic water Shake n' serve.
billybob
Yep, sure sounding good to this young boy. James Bond extra dry vodka martini: Vodka shaken not stirred w/lemon peel...some say a breath of vermouth.
