The Dude
the builder didn't "clock" the bolts I clock all the screws on my switch/outlet plates in my house. Very different design, I like how creative people get.

Pat.P
Nice looking amp but what the heck is "clock the bolts?
Schu
Ah... I can see some might have never been to a concours d'elegance... clocking is making sure all bolts and or nuts have the same orientation in terms of clocking... eg: all points on the nuts and bolts pointing at 12 O'clock. It doesn't have to be 12 O'clock... but at the very least all pointing in the same direction. Clocking. jjptkd
Very nice! Reminds me of Bender a little. He could always go back and "clock" everything if it became bothersome to look at, I personally didn't notice until it was brought up. mungkiman
It's fairly common practice. Like Duder mentioned, we "clock" all the screws on electrical face plates, the acorn nuts on fixtures, etc. Basically anything aesthetic. In this build, nuts.
muel
45 lbs of torque sounds the best... any less and it will sound loose.
Dr Morbius
Yes, I could see that on the Nautilus…………with a couple of Khorns on either side of the saloon pipe organ!
mark1101
Is this some sort of hybrid? Appears to be an integrated amp, with a tube amp output stage. Solid state or passive preamp stage? What is this?

russ69
I had to share this just finished PP I saw online... most beautiful. the only issue I see is that the builder didn't "clock" the bolts Clocking is wrong. The bolts should be rotated until the correct torque setting is achieved, they end up where they end up.
