Moderators dtel Posted February 12, 2016 Moderators Posted February 12, 2016 Why, that's easy it's because it's devil weed, you never seen the movie reefer madness ? OK never mind, I wasn't thinking straight After year of extensive testing I believe it's safe, safer than alcohol or cigarettes for sure. 12 Quote
Jim Naseum Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I think the broader view of all anti-drug regulations including opium, morphine, cocaine, heroin, and psychedelics, is that it is a Calvinistic impulse of the Establishment that the "little people" should not be enjoying life as much as working their hineys off to float the upper classes in luxury. 11 Quote
oldtimer Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 The ultimate high noon, lol. Anslinger is well known as a root cause, but wait there's more. There was also a racist component which Huff Post decided not to include. 4 Quote
mark1101 Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 The government hadn't figured out how to control it so they got their share of the $$ without it getting out of their control. Anyone can grow it. Alcohol is a little tougher to produce a quality product at home. However...........now they have figured it out now. Pretty easy to see what motivates legalization. $$$$ for the govt. 1 Quote
homeskizzle Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I know that cops around here use it as a reason (Probable cause?) to search vehicles for "harder" drugs...ie...Officer thinks he smells weed in the car, calls in drug dog, and hopes he gets some harder substance. Ultimately, it wasn't about Marijuana, but about control. 5 Quote
Jim Naseum Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Today, the WoD is a major strategic instrument of social control. Notice that--- 1) The quantity of drugs available continues to rise with demand 2) Enforcement gets heavier and heavier against a lower, and lower class of people. That's social engineering at it's best (worst). get more people on it, putting more people at risk of arbitrary punishment. 1 Quote

JJkizak Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) There is a huge influx of money trying to get the Mary thing passed in Ohio even though it was voted down by 75% the first time. They are trying to ram it up our butts no matter what. JJK Edited February 12, 2016 by JJKIZAK Quote

Fish Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Ultimately, imo, there is a LARGE prison/jail/law industrial complex that must always get more customers.Of course legit disagreement and ignorance is a factor, just small. Quote

Sadly, that was considered one of the grandest "growth" businesses of the 21st Century. Quote
