derrickdj1
Just curious, how many people on this thread live in a state where MJ is legal? How many of us would feel OK using it if, it was legal? Oh, if you are wondering about me, the answer is no but, not based on any moral high ground.

Moderators dtel Posted April 1, 2017 Moderators Share Posted April 1, 2017 Right after we got married 38 years ago we went to a Peter Tosh concert in a small building that only held about 150 people, great show. When the place got full they locked the doors. The band came out a back door right by the stage followed by a cloud, they came out and started putting spliffs on the amps, on the organ, everywhere there was a flat spot. the would light it up pass it through the band and into the audience, nonstop for a couple hours, great show. Been loving reggae for a long time now, and going to Jamaica only made me love it more. One of the songs was from his album that came out in 1976 a couple years before we seen him, he was a little ahead of his time, it's now legal in Jamaica. Had the lp at one time, called Bush Doctor. "lyrics hebush DoctorWarning!Warning! Not legal here but decriminalized, 30 grams or less is a misdemeanor and a $250 ticket. I hear the stuff is bad for you ?

I use it everyday...well, every night. I have four herniated disks, arthritis in my hip & neck -- have lived in pain for many years now. After my accident (i was ran over by a truck while i was walking across a major street) i was taking Vicodin and Motrin, and my stomach started bleeding. I generally wake up six or more times per night, many nights i wake up every hour. Long story short, the stuff helps me sleep and is far less harmful to me than the hard narcotics that the doctor was offering. Plus, it’s relaxing and puts me in a good mood -- so there’s the icing on the cake. I did NOT use it at all while my kids were still living with me.

I heard it was the manufacturing medical marijuana portion of the law that passed, not the sale. Is that correct?

As long as there are no customs to clear I'll come visit. BTW can I keep my diplomatic immunity?

Previous immigrants are still on the books and are welcomed following a brief interview and back pack inspection; no slushy, no entry

That's why at the very least medical should be legal in every state.
