JL Sargent
Small jet engine? Gotta be. Looks like a crazy ride on that thing. Night riding not advised.
Jeff Matthews
Wow! Just need some wind control and a muffler, and that thing will be ready for mass consumption. Oh, yeah. A safety parachute, too.
mustang guy
Small jet engine? That's the first thing that entered my mind. How are they making that much thrust with such a small platform? Not including legs and little fan wings, but including the intake, it is about a 16" cube. The guy is wearing a fuel pack on his back, which probably weighs 40 lbs. The machine has to weigh 50 lbs. The man probably 175. His suit is another 5. That means this tiny little cube is generating around 300 pounds of thrust minimum.
Don Richard
An organ donor machine. My name is not on the waiting list for this one.
Mallette
That means this tiny little cube is generating around 300 pounds of thrust minimum. Fuel supply must be little improved from the old backpack from wayback. But engine power must be a LOT better. 3:55 is enough for a SEAL time to get to the top of a World Trade Center. Sorry about the immediate military thoughts but it was the first thing to come to mind. Of course, pretty awesome for rescue insertions and such as well.
