cincymat
I think those speaker cables only work on ribbon style speakers.... Mark Edited June 27, 2016 by cincymat
jimjimbo
Not to mention that for $15,000 for a 3 m pair of speaker cables, you also get what is undoubtedly a special Norwegian Birch wood and thingamajig that goes around them, that I'm sure has some fantastic functional value. Deang
That's just painful. I freak out over a $50 2.2uF capacitor - but at least I can understand why it might cost that much - but wire?

But it's that super special flat wire! Makes all the sound waves rectangular. Fits better in rectangular rooms.
Deang
Some people just don't have a conscience- it's disgusting.
cincymat
Unfortunately, that's so true. Still, it's interesting to see how they never cease to amaze.

twk123
The best part of all this is people will pay $15,000 on special cables but wont spend $200 on room treatment for their stereo systems...

twk123
"Temporal precision"..... That's what it's all about… give me a freaking break. If you look closely at the box there is actually a little card you can hold with all these catch phrases so you can regurgitate it to all your buddies that you are trying to one up in your gated community. babadono
"Temporal precision"..... That's what it's all about… give me a freaking break. If its about temporal precision one better have an active crossover with digital delay capability to each amp/driver in their speaker system

JJkizak
If you wrapped those cables around your head you wouldn't need your ears anymore because of the self induction, a cochlear replacement device. JJK
richieb
Come on guys - we run inferior Klipsch speakers and do not have the need for "upper crust" wire. All one needs is good old fashioned lamp cord to provide all the "horn shout" one needs.
efzauner
Ya. sure. These "approach oral perfection" Do yours??? Lars I know a girl that achieves oral perfection. And she is a hell of a lot cheaper too!
pzannucci
Not touching the last entry.... This wasn't an ad, it was a review. People with a lot more money than many of us have in the bank, have the right to buy audio jewelry. There are a number of $100K speakers or components that don't sound better than many Klipsch. The technology can be impressive but in the end, not that impressive. But again, you are allowed, super polished silver or platinum. One of the two you can brag about more and get a little more out of.
