J M O N
Very nice! Varathane Cognac is also what I ended up using. I was trying to get as close to the Klipsch walnut oil color as I could on birch wood.

oldred
Thanks for all the nice comments......Don't mean to pile on ...but I finished these up today after work....brought them in to finish up. For the guys who didn't know . I found these less than a mile from my house. Cabinets were about condition 8....risers were trashed...coming apart and needed new veneer. Spent a little time sanding veneering ...Watco and Briwax I got a feeling I am going to keep these. Going to need to sell some others. Thanks again G.E.M. With all the time needed for restoration you don't really make any money on these types of projects so it truly becomes a matter of pride and pleasure. I think it helps inspire others to do those kind of projects. Well done.
