What's For Dinner?

Recommended Posts

well, for the past two days, i’ve eaten tamales that i purchased from a lady at work.  Not sure where I’ll go tonite.

Those of you living traditional lives--sometimes, I envy you.  Whatever you have for dinner, i sure hope that you enjoy it and have loved ones around to enjoy it with.

Our family function is mainly appetizers, everybody brings something. My wife made meatballs and a spicy chicken dip. Chicken dip is excellent, it has chicken, Franks buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, a little blue cheese. She has a Honey Baked ham for tomorrow.

Tonite, Danny Edwards KC BBQ at my step sons. Brisket (compares with any in the city) pulled pork and KC burnt ends.

And the inauguration of his new, delivered yesterday, Klipsch 160m's. These should serve well in a smallish newly finished basement.  I'm pitching in with an older Denon CD, cables and older sub I've had lying around. Should do him well until he gets really up and running, anxious to hear 'em. I welcomed him him to the Klipsch family with the offspring from my KHorns and RB75's!  I thought I heard them messin' around one night ---

For me and the kiddos the 'eve' mid afternoon lunch was pork chops as the main.

Salt and peppercorn brine soaked for 6 hours, dry and left in fridge over night

Salt and pepper only seasoning

Honey, dijohn, soy, garlic, ginger pepper glazed

Grilled on the 22" Weber over apple / slow burn Kingsford to an internal temp of 146* then rest for 10 minutes.
