Coytee Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 I was sitting at my desk listening to Simon & Garfunkel 'Old Friends' cd via the Pro-Media 2.1's. I like their stuff and it's a nice show.... then, I broke out of my concentration of what I was doing as I realized Bridge over Troubled Water was about 1/3 into the song and I didn't realize it. Started over.... and turned it up a couple more notches. I especially like the opening piano and the kick-drum as it starts (starts??? my hiney, it's not until two and a half minutes into it!!!) 3 Quote

wipster Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 So many, but a couple that came to mind immediately: Led Zeppelin-- Good Times, Bad Times Talking Heads--Burning Down the House, live version Not just a little loud, but very loud as long as there isn't anyone to bother in the house.Actually, the entire first side of Zep IX (the newest remaster) sounds awesome with a little wattage... might have to listen to that in fact!Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk 1 Quote

BigStewMan Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 My brother told me that he once went to see Alice Cooper and the warm up band was Faster Pussycat. He said those shows were so loud that his ears were ringing. Quote

JohnJ Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 RUSH too: * That one is different for even the early RUSH. I realized last night listening to it alone wasn't the same as within the context of the great "Fly By Night" album. Making Memories preceding it and In The End after make side 2 mesh. 1 Quote
