westcott
Hear is an updated pic front shot of my humble little system. The acoustic panels are DIY. Very nice. I like the floors, colors, and equipment selection. Should provide a great home theater experience. Congratulations!
Capa
Mitsubishi 52"DLP Receiver/processer:Pioneer1014 Amp for L/R-Adcom 555mkII L/R-KLF30 Center-KLFC7 Surrounds-KLF20s Subs-(2)SVS PB12.3+/2 Still looking for a deal on an Adcom 5503(which is 3x200) , am planning to turn a KLF20 into a center, then swap the other for another C7 and use those for surrounds. Eventually will move to a projector set up. This is way overkill for this room, but my next house will have a big theater/game room. Front: KLF30 with SVS sub: Rear Also have an SB3 that I use as a monitor(the other one needs a new woofer)
Speedball
Dbossa is right on in my opinion. Carpet made a huge difference in my room. Absolute night and day. I will have to search the forum for DrWho's analysis, as I cannot figure how a carpet could NOT affect a room's acoustics, regardless of thickness. I do not claim any sort of knowledge on this matter, but there was a giant difference in my case, and my carpet is probably less than 4 inches thick (if not less). Let's see, the carpet pad is somewhere around 3/8" & the carpet is around 3/4" and it makes a difference for me. So yeah, it makes a difference here too.[]
Steve Phillips
Things change from back around page 22 or so of this way long thread 1980 Cornwall I's L & R, center 1982 Cornwall I. Aragon Stage One and 2007 still used, but 8008x3 driving the front end, RT-12d in back, THX Ultra2 sub system up front. RS-7 sides, RB-5 back surrounds. Oppo 971, other stuff no change other than the projector is now a Yamaha DPX-1200 720p. Not done yet, I need to curtian the area below the screen, as you can see the painted wall behind. Cornwall too tall, had to raise new screen....

GiLL
Can anyone tell me where to buy this stand and who makes it and price?? Bumping my own question. Anyone know where I might buy this stand/rolling cart? I asked this over 2 years ago and still don't know the source of it.
tonytahoe
Nice set up , love them hardwood floors. The panels on the walls , what type of material? My systen Still in the works , like it ever ends lol. Thanks for the compliments. The panels are made from Owens-Corning 703 rigid fiberglass (24"x48"x2") wrapped in batting and then cover in burlap. You don't have to wrap them in the batting, although I highly recommend doing so to keep loose fiberglass particles from getting out. You can use burlap, linen, meslin, or any loose fiber material to do the final covering.
