How Do YOU Get Them In The Mood

Annie Lennox anything from the Eurythmics to today.

+++++++++++++

And the Peace Tour DVD is a nice visual.

Wallflowers featuring Jakob Dylan seems to get my wife a little moist at times.

Nothing with women works consistently with women even 20 % of the time.

If you hope to get lei'd you better find some nice way to take only one lady home even if both are appearing to show interest. In the real world no young lady wants to admit up front to her sister or close friend that she is willing to "communicate" with a new found friend. In real life "Threesomes" are generally more protective than pornographic.

I suspect Lynnm speaks from experience. So what were their names? Just kidding (maybe)-thanks.

Speaker, now we're talking. Don't know anything about the specifics of the music you passeda long but from the titles alone I know I'll be in the record store tomorrow morning.

Andrea Bocelli. Although I've never tried it, I have heard this recommendation by more than one from the female species. Hmmm...maybe I should give this a try.

If you really want to know, you should be asking the women. I have a hard time believing the Rock 'n Roll suggestions will do the trick for most women. Take all these recommendations with a grain of salt if they are from a guy.

Remember, we don't understand women, so don't ask us what gets them in the mood!

Hey slammin!

I had that FZ album memorized, how bout

'she had some bovine persperation on her upper lip area and she said,

"Just get me WASTED, you're halfway there, cause when my mind's messed up, then my body don't care..."'

It's all in the mind...

personally, I enjoy a little Miles for those smooth moments, the timbre of that horn is just toooo cooool!

Geesh Thebes - it just struck me.

You come to these misfits of society - folks that get blatantly angry when there SET, tubes, chips, etc. are slighted by another - folks that have measured the effect of the the third fold in a horn on the all important 55hz sound wave - folks that have accoustically designed their walls to resemble something from Woody Allen's Sleeper - folks that talk in tongues using terms like caps, Linkowitz-Riley and Thiele/Small - folks that KNOW how many watches Paul Klipsch wore (even worse - they consider it an important datum).

What in the world makes yu think anyone here has been repeatedly successful with the opposite sex? Most can't even seduce the other voices in their head...

Frank Zappa had it right.......most love songs are goofy in the norm....and absurd in the extreme. It's one of those oft mentioned subjects in music that almost always comes off cheezy. As wacky as many of Frank's songs are regarding the subject, my wife agrees that singing about love is much more difficult than one would initially think. But listen to a few of those normal "love songs" and think about it......by any artist. See the "I'm In You" lecture in Frank Zappa's "Baby Snakes" video for a complete explanation (as well as "The Poodle Lecture"). This is especially true in the Pop genre.

Listening to some love songs while.....uhhhh......making love is a bit ------- wierd. Do we really need a step by step instruction manual? Does this mean that Jimmy Buffett's "Cheeseburger In Paradise" now qualifies as "dinner music"?

Singing about love is like singing about world peace.....difficult to do properly, without sounding cheezy, preachy, or overbearing. I find that those who do one well do the other well also (Grateful Dead and The String Cheese Incident fit that bill).

So, if you want to get her in the mood, do something to show her you REALLY care (serve her breakfast in bed, flowers, take her out to her favorite place, see her favorite band, etc) and you'll find that the "in the mood" part of the program comes more naturally1.gif
