oldtimer
If I had to pick one out of the hundreds I've tried, and could only have that one the rest of my life, it would be Guiness. Brilliant!

ibanezhater
free and perferably cold, other wise Yuengling Lager A favorite Pennsylvania brew! I also like their porter, maybe the best "cheap" beer currently brewed. They sell Yuengling in Hong Kong? A decade ago, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it for sale in Vermont. Cool. Audible Nectar
OK - here's the roundup...... Amber Ales: Red Tail Ale (Mendocino Brewing Co, Ukiah, CA), Fat Tire Amber Ale (New Belgium Brewing Co, Ft Collins, CO) Stout: Terminator Stout (McMenamin's Brewing, various locations in Oregon) - THE KING of stouts. Wheat: Bell's Oberon Summer Wheat Ale (Bell's Brewery, Comstock, MI) Porter: Black Butte Porter (Deschutes Brewing Co, Bend, OR) Local Favorite: Uncommon Stout (Bent River Brewing Company, Moline, IL) The signature beer of the aforementioned establishment, an excellent stout with the added zip of coffee! I wasn't too much for it in the beginning, but is very habit forming with repeated trials. I think of American lagers as I do Bose: I choose or use them when there is no other choice. meagain
Right now I'm really enjoying Stella Artois Belgium. Has the right kind of flavor for me and still light.
Marvel
Ah... there's a lot of different roots out there though. I like the darks, but they are very filling. Spaten Optimator Theakston Old Peculier Leinenkugel - almost any of their brews. I think there are too many to count that are good. Blue Moon, too.
