yes. i've tried and disposed of two different subs located between the left k and the rack. a little more grunt down low would be nice but not required as the illusion is almost perfect as it is....

How did you integrate them into the system?

Incorrectly, i'm sure. The lastest try was with a sub 12, set the crossover to about 50 hz if i remember correctly.

The bass is wasn't the issue, i just don't like running the signal through the extra crossover before it gets to the khorns, negatively affects mid bass, midrange and highs. It takes something off the mains that i can't deal with..

Thanks!!!

I'm sorry but no there is not. I built it 10 or more years ago long before I owned a digital camera.

It's basically a 18" x 18" x12" box with the drivers mounted facing each other on the 18" x 18" sides and the 18" x 12" opening looking in to the living room. It's mounted in the attic so the opening is a little over 8' off of the floor. I installed a cheapo A/C return grill (painted to match the wall) over the opening.

There is a lot of really good info about IB subwoofers at http://ibsubwoofers.proboards.com/index.cgi

I should probably warn you though the some (no most) of the guy there are a little "extreme". I have one pair of 15" drivers powered by a 2000 watt amp and I'm pretty sure that it could easilly shake my small house off of it's foundation if I pushed it hard enough.

this is still the basic setup....

I just really like the way that looks , how does it sound standing by the amps ?

It's a different prospective behind the speakers, or a different way to hear the room if everything you hear is a reflection ?
