    • House of Sand and Fog by Andre Dubus. It really 'got to me'.
    • Yeah, I don’t know of any nearby but I do have a friend with a truck
    • I made too many of these a few years ago and it's time to move them out.  The frame is made from 1/2 inch plywood with a 30 degree bevel on the front.  All joints are butt joined with Bostitch 1 1/2 finish nails.   All material for the panels came from ATS Acoustics.  The absorption material is Owens Corning 703...24" X 48" X 4" panels.  The beige material is from Guilford of Maine Fabric.  The back is covered with burlap.  The material is pulled tight and fastened with Bostitch staples.  The material still is taught after all these years.  You can hang these at the first reflection points using wire or french cleats.  I have 11 panels I need to move.  They're $40.00 each. If you figure just the materials this is a good deal.     I live in Southern Indiana across the Ohio River from Louisville, KY.  I take PayPal (I pay fee) or cash.  I can help with delivery within a reasonable distance.  If you could chip in for gas it would be most appreciated!  If interested shoot me a PM.  Thanks!
    • I've bought and sold on the Forum in the past.  This thing is a beast.  I believe it's the biggest THTLP you can build.  It was built according to BF plans using 1/2 inch Baltic Birch plywood, Loctite PL Premium Polyurethane glue and 1 1/2 inch screws.   It measures 72" X 36" X 18".  Probably weighs close to 200 lbs.  It uses the recommended driver:  Dayton Audio RSS390HF-4, 15 inch Reference Series, 4 Ohm.  Rock solid build, no vibration.  I built it in my home wood shop.  It comes with the amp pictured (Bash 300) with the case I built. You hardly need any gain for this thing.  I did build legs for it if you want to have the throat toward the floor (18 inches from floor), even though it's top heavy.     I live in Southern Indiana, just across the river from Louisville, KY.  No shipping on this thing.  I do have a pickup to help with delivery...within a reasonable distance.  Maybe throw in some coin for the gas if I go that route.  I'd rather have some one pick it up though.   $650.00 for the Subwoofer and amplifier.  PayPal (I'll eat the Fee) or cash!  Shoot me a PM if interested, Thanks!     I also have a brand new driver just like the one in the Sub along with a Bash 300 amplifier/case I built.  I was planning on building another one but not in this life!  $250.00 for both. Thanks again
    • I see your spending Gia's Communion monies. A stylus timer? 👁️
    • I’ve owned just about every synergy made and the G3’s, in certain settings, have sounded better overall than my reference or RP line even. I have beat the crap out of them with my Yamaha aventage RX-A3040 I mean to volume levels where I choose to not go louder because of physical discomfort and not to preserve the life of my equipment (I’m sure there are a few reading that know what I really mean by that) they are tough and balanced and dynamic response has never revealed any obvious deviations. I’ve had the G3’s for 6 years and seems every time I crank them up I find myself laughing loudly exclaiming how I can’t believe how they can do so much.
