    • I’m adjusting the listing to include very careful packing and personal delivery to a prospective buyer within 300 miles of Knoxville, Tennessee at the offered price.
    • How does one get "price gouged" purchasing a "luxury" item say, for example, Hi-Fi gear?  By definition, isn't purchasing a luxury item an exercise in getting gouged willingly?   Price gouging is real, universities and healthcare institutions are the experts.
    • This is what happens when the cost of necessary consumables are not "adjusted" to account for demand.
    • Winter is Here!   My hereditary Arthritis is alive.  FlexAgain is good! It's also not like the Rx's with the test tube chemicals.   So that place I got in the forest? Tremendous trees have far-reaching roots and being on the second highest plateau of my land they got under the slab and busted into a pipe.  Well now my new year old floor is up in a numbered stack, at least I can use the bathroom again after a week without. Jackhammer will be here this coming week. Very glad I got good coverage on my new to me home!   Don't try asking a plumber to use the kind of permanent pipe that has to be welded like the good-ol-days... mine just about got upset until the grin broke out on my face Cheap-plastic-pipes make me cuss!   So they were calling for 5 then it went up to 11 + by yesterday evening. Now it's all three, freezing rain, sleet and snow to about 9 for Sun-Monday.
    • Honestly, I didn't like the Cornwall IIIs and the midrange horn they used on it. I had them for five years. To me that midrange horn is undersized and the speaker doesn't sound balanced. It's got the bass and the balls, but the detail isn't as good or where it needs to be. That midrange horn is a major weakness in those big speakers.    My original stock Klipsch Forte 1 speakers sounded more detailed, and everything is perfectly balanced to me. The forte 1 are some damn good speakers and they were definitely the better speaker in my setup. I sold the Cornwall IIIs with no regrets.    I also owned heresy IIIs paired with a good subwoofer. I felt they sounded really close to the Cornwall IIIs. Going back and forth between the two, it was hard to tell the difference. There was more presence with the Cornwalls iiis, and they had a slightly bigger sound filling the room. If I had to choose between the two, considering price and the smaller footprint, I would definitely take the heresy IIIs and a subwoofer.   I would absolutely love to hear the Cornwall IVs. I have a feeling they would be perfect in my setup.
    • Yeah my Belles have the 4 metal screws and the t-nuts.  I really appreciate everyone's input. I just finished the second speaker tonight, and there was one screw on the k33 that was almost completely screwed out. I never noticed a rattle or anything weird before, but I should've checked the original woofers and their securement when I purchased the speakers years back.   Initial impressions are exactly what everyone says. Mid bass is a little more present, and there's definitely more detail in the midrange with the eminence kappa woofers, which is great. The bass is tighter, but definitely doesn't sound as deep as the k33. I'm sure that some burn in will help out. I'm enjoying them so far. I'll keep them playing most of the day tomorrow. Eventually, I'll add my subwoofer to fill in the low end, but I want to see what they can do without it first.
    • Good stuff^^^   If your were just south of NY that day I recorded this, there were lots of folks on the stage! Lou, Joan, Sting at the top of my list for this tune.
    • two Heresys wired in series...so that the center image was wider than pin point enter.  I experimented with clocking those two also. I thought the Heresy was awesome, but I felt ultimatelythat a single was the best solution.     Single Cornwall... sounded great for 5.1 music, but I felt the Heresy was a better center channel for Home Theater. There was something advantageous about the scale of the Heresy in relation to the two mains where the mains would get burried by a larger center speaker in HT usage.   For 5.1 music,a full size center was better.
    • I actually have a NIB miniDSP HD, microphone and plenty of high quality channels of amplification on hand but have decided I want all my speakers to be as plug and play friendly as possible. I've been tinkering with speakers for a long time now and have a few sets that sound pretty dam good already.    The Chief did in fact rework a set of networks for the McLaren 905's (kpt-904's) for home use but those things are pretty huge. Either way I'm happy, just think if Klipsch could throw together a 2-way, Chorus type speaker with these parts- even if it ended up being a complete break away from the Heritage line they'd be one kick-*** speaker.
    • What's the blue stuff? Rice? Or a Sea Cucumber (had that once at a real Chinese restaurant with tempura soft shelled crab) Salmon looks good, never had it like that but I love it!
