  4. Wouldn't it better to use that money to buy a couple of K-horns and listen to the concerts in your man cave? JJK

  6. Your receiver looks great. If I didn't have a Sansui 990 (black face 9090), I would be very interested in this one. GLWYT
  7. Thank you @wuzzzer, @Peter P. for the advice. I shall do as you say. Much appreciated.
  8. Welcome to the forum, Thanik S. You have a wonderful system that matches your music interest perfectly, in my experience and opinion. I have only owned one SET amplifier. It is a almost 2 wpc SET 45. It uses the 45 tube, an 6SN7 driver tube, and an 80 rectifier tube. I use it with my Heresy IV. I can say the 2 wpc is more than enough power. It can get extremely loud. The sound is amazing. The instruments are crystal clear. Incredibly life-like. As if you were setting in front of the stage. If I play a higher definition recording, like something from Pat Matheny or perhaps Martin Tallstrom, the music experience is magical. It sounds almost holographic in the sense that it captivates me. Honestly, I have never heard anything so pure, rich and like listening to real instruments. That is my personal experience. The amp I have is an Allen Eaton. A small maker of amps. The design and sound is great. The fit and finish however, is very very basic. With the system you have now, you might like something more sophisticated like a Decware piece or other elevated amp, but with the same wonderful SET sound. I hope that helps in some small way. Again, welcome to the forum. There are a lot of very experienced and knowledgeable people here, I am only just a recent member and have a lot to learn.
  9. You have to go to settings and notifications. (People are much more informed on what the options are than me.)
  10. A little bit of cheer A novel way to the saying Taking it (music) on the road Watch and have some fun
  11. Great album from a musical genius.
  12. I like their stuff, but if it was just me I would pass on it. I have pretty much seen everyone I wanted to see - except Led Zeppelin. My niece had just locked down tickets for all of us for the Cleveland show and Bonham died almost the same week she bought them. I haven’t had a drop of serotonin since. This is for my wife’s birthday. Deb would’ve been happy in the nosebleed section, but blowing her away is so much more fun.
  13. I heard this track today by accident and brought back some memories What about you (if you are of that age era) But the sad part is that the mob cheated him of his royalties Enjoy Tommy James

  16. First time I ever heard of Ted Nugent was Double Live Gonzo in summer of 78 or 79. A neighborhood guy stopped me and said listen to this. He brought his stereo system outside and blasted Great White Buffalo. The whole neighborhood could hear it. After a few songs his mom was yelling out the window. Turn it off!! Music brings back so many memories!
  17. Would you be willing to package them onto a pallet for LTL shipping?
  18. I have a number of Klipsch plate amps I've used parts to make others good, and I'm wanting to know what the output is of the pre-amp board, tone control, whatever the control board is called. What I'm hoping to do is measure the output of these boards to see if they can be used with these 1000 watt amps I picked up for $40 each. (specs and pics attached) It shows they need a 15+/- pre-amp board to control it. It's a great amp because I can use it as a dual or mono. I want to see if I can use them for another plate amp setup, but I realize there might be other things to contend with. What I can't figure out is how I measure the output power or specifications of these subwoofer control boards. Can anyone help? I'll list the ones I have: RW-8, RW-10, RW-12, R-12sw, R-112sw, Synergy Sub 10 & 12. Those are just the Klipsch ones. I am a novice, so please explain things as if you're teaching a high school student who's 48....🤔 First pics are of the 1000 watt amps w/specs, and the others are control boards and possible plates I can use with them.
  19. Congrats on selling your two Aric amps
  20. I guess OP is never going to come back to give detailed impressions about this purchase.
  21. Dayum.... I think I'll just stick with YouTube videos for those prices. Definitely an increase in pricing since my first concert in early 1979. That was Rush & April Wine. Then, saw Van Halen in June and September that same year on the VH II tour. Good times...
  22. Days? Two days? lol Maybe no one knew or they were busy.
