  2. for all intents and purposes, it is a 2sp PowerGlide transmission. It revs up while you are calling for more power, then tries to gear up to idle speed @1200rpm. They are calling it new [20 or 30 years new] .. infinitely variable trans. It does have a distinct 1st gear. our imp.. at rest

  8. Welp, just realizing page 200...Had considered doing this later but been on my mind lately. Saw Seger more than once I can attest to. Have shown, maybe all my early copies on lp. Have had all up to around 80 then tapered off. This band with Teagarden and Van Winkle saw at Campbell Stadium in Tally. A good collaboration I say. Some songs appeared on the famous Silver Bullet Band...live as you know:

  23. Time to spin some Australian Blues This Artist was born in Brisbane so a local boy for QLD but moved to Western Australia in his mid 20s (1975/76) This album is a walk back in time - it’s unique and a beautifully put together but unique blues that only this artist plays His most famous song is - I remember when I was young Artist - Matt Taylor Title - Straight As A Die

  31. I would have guessed silver or white, I was thinking about the heat, black may have melted in the summer. What is that, I have to ask your kind of close to California where that could mean something else ? Did you feel the earthquake yesterday, they said it was close to the Southern AZ border ?

  35. Facebook reminded me today - I didn't go though. I was working overtime - I telecasted the whole thing though. It was one of those things where I could either spend $80 to rent the stuff, and get crammed into a sardine can for 3 hours, or make $210 and use the $80 for a nice meal after work. I chose the latter. Next stop AMU for the pH.D.

  36. No Canadian Geese expert here but it seems they come back to the spot where they were raised each year and have their own babies ? Or it's different geese each year ? Three pair in the yard this year, usually just one or two pair with babies. We have about 12-15 that don't leave, they fly around each day trying to decide what pond to land in for the night, It might be them having babies ?

  37. See she's the smart one, good for her she will enjoy a new car. Nothing wrong with econobox, no need to get in a rush and take off fast, bet she did not pick black ? See what I mean you would be happy riding around with no doors, trunk lid or hood It's no wonder she wouldn't want you picking out a car .

  38. We went from winter to summer in about a week. Spent this morning getting the pontoon boat ready to go in the lake tomorrow. Seems like the job takes longer with every passing year. Cooling off, sipping some Woodford Reserve, listening to Steely Dan's Katy Lied. It's my least played Steely Dan album. Not sure why.
