It was a warm day in the mountains. I had to run down to Asheville this morning to check out the display and speakers in the conference room at the office we have near the hospital. Easy enough, it’s only about an hour down the road from the house. On my way there, the boss calls and lets me know we are still having internet issues at another office down in Webster. I call some staff in Webster and talk them through rebooting the equipment, it doesn’t come back online. I call the ISP, “oh yeah we are having a big outage right now.” Okay, I finish up in Asheville and go to lunch. The ISP emails back, “our stuff is up but we aren’t seeing anything on your side after we hand off port1”. Easy enough, it’s only an hour down the road from the Asheville office. I get there and walk in and immediately notice the patch cable in port1 on the ISP’s router is not plugged in all the way. (CLICK) Everything comes back up. Apparently the staff on site last night let the kids in the closet by themselves to grab a broom to sweep up after their group session. I gently express my displeasure at letting the kids near the network equipment with the staff member who just walked in. I lock the closet door and head out to my burb to drive home. Easy enough, it’s only two hours down the road from the Webster office. I get home and crank these bad boys up and start thinking about buying a detail sander so I can refinish the cabs.4 points

Good luck. I couldn't sell a pair for half that a couple years ago. Father in law is now king of the trailer park with them.3 points

For sure it's freakin hevy. I was hunting for some top model from vinyl dusk era. Like this one or Pioneer P3, Sony PS-X9,Denon DP-100M. Trio was least expensive and least classic looking. Someone relatively close distance to me tried to sell it end of last year so I took a chance and brought it home. It needs little bit of cosmetic love but from what I checked before it's mostly repairable in case if something wrong would happen.3 points

No affiliation. There is a pair of black LaScalas listed in Denver for $750. Looks to be in great shape and it's a killer deal if true. https://offerup.co/mjsUvQbLSCb2 points

I forgot, I had a Burny LP copy that a friend of mine got when he was stationed in Japan in the '70s. It was an excellent guitar, especially for the $100 I gave him for it.2 points

Are all 6.5" ProMedia subwoofer speakers essentially the same/interchangeable? I have a few ProMedia systems (2.1 and 2.1 THX and 2.1 BT) and I have one system with a bad amp (very faint muddled sound) and one system with a blown SW 6.5" speaker. Can I just swap the good speaker into the system with the good amp?1 point

@billybob @OO1 Thank you both for your valuable insights. I've done some research based on your suggestions: 1. On Amazon, the J-foot seems to be suitable only for TVs up to 70 inches. 2. I also came across a mention on BestBuy stating that the speaker has a maximum weight capacity of 70 lbs. 3. Lastly, I found another potential solution on Amazon that might address my needs. I truly appreciate your assistance and guidance. Thanks again!1 point

Here is the second Miles Davis, it's a double LP, Gatefold cover from Sony Music Entertainment/Columbia Records for Get On Down, the 2 vinyls are opaque yellow to match the cover! It's a double live from 1982, the reissue is from 2022 https://www.discogs.com/fr/release/23918612-Miles-Davis-We-Want-Miles Edit: Marcus Miller's bass on the 15" Klipsch 😜 😄1 point

After you submit the post, you should be able to edit the post and move the pics around. Another option would be to use the Gallery feature here and embed your gallery in your post. Galleries are pretty customizable in terms of ordering images and things like that.1 point

I loves it. I loves it so much I made a clone of it last year, and it even turned out good! Here, here! The last beer I made (tapped a couple weeks ago -- a vanilla milkshake IPA) is so good that I may finally be onto something here. Even my coors light drinking dad and my Milwaukee's Best Light drinking Dad-in-law both love it.1 point

I've noticed that sometimes the PowerReviews form doesn't load on the first try. Try refreshing the page until it appears. I'm looking into this. Thanks1 point
