  1. You see Ivan ..the little Mini Utopia were manufacured in 1999 and they´re vintage speakers now , at that time they cost 14.000 German Mark ( approx 7,5 K € today ) and they reproduce a soundimage and a stage three times bigger than their optical size. Those´re brilliant Speakers and we got so much fun with my electronic audio gear.

  2. Second LP from the LP/LD exchange: https://www.discogs.com/release/371966-Queen-A-Night-At-The-Opera Side two is a little roughed up, I guess we all know why, right? First Queen vinyl in my collection, the prices asked for, what is imho junk, is just to high, that´s why I didn´t get any so far. This one´s not bad and it didn´t cost much.

  9. Hello ! The Milesian frenzy continues 😉 First of all this famous live Agharta with such a beautiful cover, which I am listening to, it is in the vein of Jack Johnson-On The Corner-Get up With It 😜 My reissue is a gatefold double LP of MOV/Columbia from 2015 https://www.discogs.com/fr/release/7779095-Miles-Davis-Agharta https://www.allmusic.com/album/agharta-mw0000187879 I want to change my old TEAC for this new Denon DP-3000NE: you like it 😄

  16. It took eight days. I wasn't prepared for how big they actually are. That said, I have them toed in just a little and the sweet spot is almost as wide as my room. I eq"d the bass a little and wow a perfect speaker. I have diverse tastes in music. The three albums I use to show off the system are Willie Nelson "Stardust", Glen Miller "The Hits" and Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, "Ella and Louis". Try those three and see what you think. If they get better after break-in, I can't wait. Thank you all for your help.

  17. Yep we all have our limits to how far we can bend our very own rules so to speak. Good luck George. My relationships... a couple on and off again for about a decade and one for seven solid years ended amicably compared to the rancid rancor still coming from my former brother. So I just decided that he must have got the bad stuff from our family tree. Had another opportunity this week come to find there were carpenter bee issues in the dwelling. Heck if the previous owner would rather sell than fix it I am not going to go into it blindly. The search continues. We had a lot of wind in the Piedmont a couple days ago and off and on real good rain from that system passing by close. Over and out!

  23. Another sign of life from me , have brought part of my equipment to my good friend with whom I currently live. To his Mini Utopia and his Transrotor " FatBob " we have connected my external MI / MM / MC Trichord phono stage, my DYNACO PAS 4 tube preamplifier, my Cayin tube monos, my Marantz PM11-S3 SS , my Marantz SA11-S3 CDP and optionally my GoldNote M 9 Class D monos. We have also wired the entire system with my power- rca as well as speaker cables . The French Mini Utopia sound really great and have even for this size a fantastic bass foundation. We have what the music listening is really fun 😊 We´re playing with the gear and listen to music a lot .

  26. I actually thought there was a Buckeye under that boulder. How they did it I'll never know. One of the craziest games I've ever seen. 17-14 and I didn't even need the 50 points! Next up Penn State at home, Wi on the road and blue in Ann Arbor. I thought the defib fired about 11 times watching the game until I realized I don't have a defifb in my pacer? Oregon stopped Colorado and rumor has it Neon's Defensive Coordinator has hit the transfer portal. Dabo goes down at Clemson and whatever else I nosed on today has been ereased.

  29. I left my house again , can´t stand it there anymore because of continuing troubble w/the wife. Living by a good friend of mine in a neighbor town for a while. Due to my accident at work approx. 2 month ago I can´t work and beeing ill still. Have to look for an appartment as intended a couple of month ago. When I´m in better physical condition I have to find a new job as well. Things aren´t that funny here. Happy that my friend welcomed me with open arms and heart, he´s got a brilliant home audio system as well . This friendship is more than 40 years old . If the accident at work had not happened, I would have a new apartment long ago. My marriage is now finally over, I had in the summer still hope that my wife and I find together again, this hope I have now finally buried. You will hear less from me in the coming months, but I'll keep you up to date, I promise 🙂

  30. Well, not really. Unless by "oriented," you mean that they understand their revenue will be extracted from consumers. What all private enterprise is "oriented toward" is making a profit. In the business of "educating children," the goal is to get kids to pass government-constructed "standard tests" as profitably as possible. That's a far different goal than "providing the most useful and productive education to children." Most of what is referred to as 'education' is just indoctrination to the desired kind of citizenship the system thrives on. That has nothing to do with properly educating a human being.

  31. Your posts are all well and good, but consider the dates, and who was included, and who was not. Then consider the progress made after masses of people were free to pursue an education instead of it being against the law to teach them. The chart I quoted takes into account these differences. Widespread public education, a dream of Jefferson's, along with post war economic factors allowed for the rise of a solid middle class and far more inclusive than before. Also consider the immigration of multitudes of poor people after the civil war and well into the 20th century.

  32. My understanding of the way congress set it up was that Internet bulletin boards aka unedited free speech were immune from suits brought because the claims were false or misleading, 230. Newspapers and others that edit the content do not have the protections of sec. 230 and can be sued for false or misleading claims. What has happened is that the formerly free speech boards protected by 230, are now edited but for some reason still have the protections of 230. Flat earth, lizard people, UFOs when it's time to distract the public, non stop inversions from official spokesmen and officials. I can take it. All of it.

  35. I'm new to this site and Klipsch ownership but I do have 30 or so years experience with cabinets: the kitchen variety. I'm not aware of any grade of spruce plywood suitable for building *any* *good* cabinets. Spruce is best used for construction although there are grades suitable for *better* construction. Most likely you will find your LaScala's are made from Baltic Birch like the other, older Klipsch's. The only US plywood I'm aware of that is remotely similar and suitable for cabinets is ApplePly and IMO Baltic Birch is still better.

AI = PROGRAMMABLE DATA BASE TOOL That will eliminate the need for human censors and will be linked to Social Credit Scores and CBDC for automated punishment fines will be deducted from your account. Will also be linked to your smart meters and other smart devices, like your EV Once AI is rolled out your soc media and YT preferences will effect your social credit score. Every click, comment and minute spent watching wrong think, tracked and recorded.

  38. Dangerous ideas: Like the concept of free speech testing claims, facts and sources testing the logic of an argument offering opposing points of view ie flat earth vs round earth vs it's all a simulation...... Challenging what our leaders or their controllers tell us to think, yes Orwellian nightmare
