    I did a DIY paint job on mine and they turned out good, but if I had it to do it again I would have a pro do it like @rockhounddid his. I think they turned out better than mine.

    Both will work fine , I use 1 amp per speaker but only because I needed the xover function.

    Get the jubes if you can, that 402 is magical with that combo.

    K691 was a great upgrade IMO.

    How much space do you have? Some great horn designs out there but they tend to be on the large size.

    There’s magic in the 402, took me a little while to get mine dialed in, but when you do it is a different level of music.

    Forte 3 hands down, Have owned several pair of Cornwalls and loved them very much. After hearing the forte 3 in hope I was sold.

    Congrats , sure you will love them. Owned a couple pairs thru the years. Always thought of them as the little speaker that could play way above its size.

    I had the k69 on my 402's to start and thought they sounded good. Got a couple K691's from a forum member and tried them, a major upgrade IMO.

    I use semi gloss for lighter woods and gloss for darker woods mostly. Pick what YOU like!!

    Just to add to good disc, try Rush 2112 . Great sound if you like their music. Following closely hope to learn a few things to help me with my system.
