    I bought these 11 years ago from the first owner who ordered them as Oak Raw, unfinished, then he applied walnut stain and lacquer.

    The Klipschorn style B has two more layers of wood (than style C) between the bass bin and the top section, giving it the appearance of having a collar.

    This is a good deal. Wish I had plans for a speaker project to use these woofers.

    I could not find an upper limit spec, but the KPT-1515 LF is a modern version of the MWM bass bin, which at one time had a published 500 Hz, 18 db/oct. crossover recommendation.

    The autonomous bartenders lack personality, but they are precise.

    REW measurements are taken at one meter from the loudspeaker being checked, but a separate RTA mic is hanging down from the ceiling, directly above the main listening position so I can observe the effects of the room.

    The CW IIIs had the back two corners of the room behind them vs. the Forte IIIs had one corner and an opening into another room, so a direct comparison was not possible, but the midrange horn on the Forte III is very smooth.
