Extremely sad news Doug. I am very sorry for your loss. Let us know how we can help.

A good time to remind everyone here that there is a critical shortage of organ donors here in the USA. The waiting list for a kidney is 7-8 years. My wife is waiting for a kidney as we speak and has previously had a pancreas transplant. If you want to be a donor make sure your family knows your intentions. You can change someone's life forever.

May I dedicate two songs:

First from Skylark, "Wildflower"

and second - "Adagio for Strings, Op.11" by Samuel Barber.

She's faced the hardest times
you could imagine
and many times her eyes fought back the tears
and when her youthful world
was about to fall in
each time her slender shoulders
bore the weight of all her fears
and a sorrow no one hears
still rings in midnight silence,
in her ears

Let her cry, for she's a lady
let her dream, for she's a child
let the rain fall down upon her
She's a free and gentle flower,
growing wild

and if by chance I should hold her
let me hold her for a time
but if allowed just one possession
I would pick her from the garden,
to be mine

Be careful how you touch her,
for she'll awaken
and sleep's the only freedom that she knows
and when you walk into her eyes,
you won't believe
the way she's always paying
for a debt she never owes
and a silent wind still blows
that only she can hear and so she goes

Let her cry, for she's a lady
let her dream, for she's a child

let the rain fall down upon her
She's a free and gentle flower,
growing wild

I would like to extend my condolences on the sudden loss of your beloved wife.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Just doing the best that I can. Going to see Neil Young perform solo at Sheas's performing Theater in Buffalo N.Y. tonight. 2800 seat venue that sold out in 3 minutes. 15 seats in Front PIT row AAA. Took a lot of wheeling and dealing but I got PIT Front Row AAA seat #8. I will be dead center 4 feet from the stage with noone between me and Neil. If this doesn't put a smile on my face nothing will. Hopefully I will get some good close up pics to post. This will be the 33rd time I've seen Neil.
