I know there are aboriginal people living in this area. Did you encounter them on your trip?

Aboriginal people live in all parts of Australia as citizens

My niece is married to a lovely aboriginal boy that works in telecommunications

This area we visited is all private farmland and a majority is viveyards

I would love to visit Australia some day. Looks like a beautiful place on TV and the movies.

You are most welcome

Land area is almost as large as the US

Services are equal to the US but less than 25 million live here

And it's the worlds largest island

That is not the worst unless you are scared of a little spider

I believe we hold the world record for a nation that has the most deadly creatures - However most people may never see any in a lifetime

I took these last Sunday after we left the record shop. She always demands that if we take a "regular" one we have to take a silly one. IMG_0436.thumb.JPG.ebfa7c2af787f65079f6d2ae30dd52df.JPGIMG_0447.thumb.JPG.24841d5add49e49c72f1f8ee8c0773ec.JPGIMG_0435.thumb.JPG.644da7f1b9173097b3d843ab92d28a47.JPG

Nice catch.  All woodpeckers are pretty skittish.  I usually hear their calls more than I see them.

About all see is them flying by, nice pic JL.

After looking at this page again I noticed the picture of your daughter with water surrounding her is upside down, just noticed that. I knew there was something different about the picture just didn't know what it was.

This critter was on my porch last summer.
