Anyone Else Looking Forward to Tonight's Debate?

Watching the cast of clowns running for the GOP nomination all trying to out-Trump Trump in their debate was a hoot!  :D

Looking forward to see the (much smaller) cast of clowns running for their opportunity to out-left each other. They'll be bidding to out do each other with less of a game of musical chairs feel to it.

We have three parties federally in Canada, all also run by clowns, who couldn't successfully run a lemonade stand on the hottest summer day ever in Canada. But at least they only have to sell their souls publicly to the Devil here for a 4 to 10 week campaign  ;)

Democratic debate?  There's another baseball game on!!  Wooo Hooo!!  Go Cubs!!

Watching Hillary selling her soul to be something she's not - priceless. Then there's grandpa who describes himself as a 'democratic socialist'. In Europe or here they call themselves social democrats.

They've also got a confirmed plagiarist currently 'benched', but warming up.  :)

You'd be better off pulling some guy off the street to run things.  ;)

Cubs are in!  They have the third best record in baseball and just took out overall No.'s 1 & 2.  They look good.

We can't debate politics, but we can sure debate sports!  :D

My repub/conservative wife is IN on watching the Dem debates.  I've already given her the script, Hillary will apologize for the email thing again, then blame others for it, laughing while claiming ignorance.  Then she will spend time blasting Trump for not liking women and any other group not white, while trying to look presidential by ignoring the other candidates who are beneath her notice.

I just finished watching the Muppets (no irony there, huh?) and I plan to catch some of the Dodgers/Mets, then at 9p it's Agents of Shield!

Well, the Dem debate is now over.  The front runner is still the front runner, and the 1% guys might rise in the polls, but I wouldn't think they could gather enough traction to rise significantly.  I don't know if the debate brought in new voters, or turned any viewers from one party to the other.

Speaking generically (I don't want to make personal political comments) do you guys think the debate was worthwhile?

Certainly, there was more substance covered than in the GOP debate.  Granted, it's just another set of sales pitches, and we all know how rule #1 in politics is to lie and over-promise.  Nevertheless, it didn't feel as much like a reality TV show like the GOP one did.

i saw the final minute…and i only vomited twice.  :D

seriously, heard bernie & hillary take shots at the republicans and that doesn’t sit well with me (neither does it when the GOP does it towards them).  don’t tell me why the other person shouldn’t be president--tell me why you should be.

From the little that i’ve heard, Sanders is presenting himself as the defender of the middle class and wealth inequity as our biggest problem.  I admittedly know little about the man. I looked for some information on him.  For those that know about him, does the focus of the bills that he’s sponsored jive with what he’s saying?  at a glance, i would have thought that labor and employment would have been at the top of his list.

Sanders sponsors bills primarily in these issue areas:

Armed Forces and National Security (27%) Health (19%) Energy (10%)Labor and Employment (10%) Education (9%) Government Operations and Politics (9%)Finance and Financial Sector (7%) Taxation (7%)

When the debates are about issues rather than virtues, that may be worth watching.

I had no choice but to search my dvr for pre-recorded smut.

Disappointing.

I can tell you pretty much anything you need to know about him, what he drinks, etc. But not here.

Liars on Parade......................I personally can not stomach this  :pwk_bs: , My television already has an inferiority complex from the dozens of insults and profanity's I hurl at it daily from the news.................Watching Hours of the Bastards would be more than my heart could stand and I swear the remote would meet with the screen in an unholy manner

Snippets on the news had me rolling hot. How that piece of trash can get up there with a straight face and speak about law is a joke and a slap in the face to anyone with enough brains to see past the political persona.  I bet Gen. David Petraeus is happy Look what he got for mishandling Classified Information.

I love how Sanders thinks he knows what the american people are tired of. This POS has not had a hard day of labor in his worthless life, A Career Politician

(I would not Pizz on any of there teeth if there gums were on fire)

I better stop before I tell you what I really think and get banned  :emotion-14:
