USNRET
Just heard from my CPA regarding tax returns.. Looks like I won't be pushing mowing my acreage this summer! I need your CPA. I don't know how this works. If my \rental house in GA is empty all year or rented all year it makes no difference to the feds except that if rented I owe GA income tax. Thaddeus Smith
That sounds about right. Let me know if you want me to send you her contact info - dunno if she's taking new clients, but it never hurts to ask. She's based in Phoenix. I like either this one or the diver. I found them while cruising the Kraken Rum store: http://www.krakenrumstore.com/products/the-kraken-bookends Seems that Kraken bought a bunch then marked them up as a limited edition item of theirs. Paducah Home Theater
gonna pull the trigger on this little guy.. http://low.es/1JWdCT0 as well as the 9-bushel bagger attachment so i don't have to rake clippings to use in my mulch bins. I used to live on a 1.5 acre lot with 55 trees. In the fall I would fill up and empty a bagger like that about 10-15 times a day, would haul an entire trailer full of the stuff off, pretty much every weekend for about a month. Ironically now I live on a 23 acre lot with thousands of trees, and I don't have to bag whatsoever. I don't know what the deal is but I ain't complaining. I just mow and the leaves dissipate and never come up by the house. Edited January 30, 2015 by MetropolisLakeOutfitters
Thaddeus Smith
we haven't bagged clippings up to this point, but I built some compost piles and have been filling with food scraps, will add grass clippings, and straw from chicken coop in order to start making compost for raised garden boxes. wvu80
oh and a 5 gallon Eagle safety can "Safety" can. Grrrrrrrrr. +++ I love Husqvarna. I used to race a Husky CR 250 two stroke back in the 80's, when they were made in Sweden. Husky used very high quality parts and good chrome moly steel for the frames. Then they were bought out and moved to Italy for manufacture, and recently they were bought out by KTM, where I think Husky and KTM share some parts, maybe engines. I don't know where they are made now, and I don't know if the bike side has anything to do with the riding lawnmower side. There must be some reason why they come with a Briggs and Stratton engine. eth2
I have had a lot of trouble with my Husky. The bearing on the deck went after 2 years and the PTO torqued itself out of the housing a few weeks later.

No zero turn...... dude? A bit rich for me. This in itself will be a big step up from the old Husky I've been borrowing and my cheapy non-self propelled push mower. wvu80
oh and a 5 gallon Eagle safety can "Safety" can. Grrrrrrrrr. yeah, this.. http://amzn.to/1CUPQoo did I miss something? Have you bought a new gas can lately? The government has mandated "changes" to keep us all safe from ourselves. You can't just take the cap off the spout and pour. They have some kind of goofy "safety" pour feature that you have to push and twist, and it "snaps" off the gas supply when you take the spout of of the gas opening. you can't just turn up the bottom and pour. And the stupid things leak all over the place, at least the ones I've bought at Lowes do.
