tigerwoodKhorns Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Over priced (I think) but they sure are nice, La Scalsa are a little rough, especially at this price. https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/ele/d/scottsdale-mcintosh-c22-mc240-mr71/7532556898.html Quote

Covid raised the price of most everything. Does not appear he has been using those speakers having them photographed in the middle of the room. Quote
jimjimbo Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Nope, those are appropriate market prices for the Mcintosh pieces in that condition. Quote
Tinnitus Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 These LaScalas look better than most I’ve seen in this price range. If these were closer, they would be mine. Quote

David Evans Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 I’m fortunate I got my audio years ago while prices were lower. Quote

I think everyone here has a room or two, some a warehouse, full of gear bought before the prices went up. I paid $300 for my La Scalas, the guy couldn't sell them so I finally called and got them after a month or so. Didn't want or need them but said oh well, I might use them in the future. Quote
pcbiz Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 Don't worry. Prices will come down eventually. The Feds are working on an anti inflationary money system, which will hopefully enable my buying impulses. 1 1 Quote

Islander Posted October 10, 2022 Posted October 10, 2022 I like the handles on the Scalas. More speakers should come with handles. Quote
