Cal Blacksmith
Dang Nick, you have more booz on the bar than I have drunk in my entire life and I am nearly 50 years old! and OBTW, you have WAY TOO MANY BLUE LIGHTS in your rack Nice looking setup! Cal Blacksmith
This is the latest incarnation of my HT system. The Center is a modded Heresy 1 and the front mains are Forte 1s. The speakers above the Fortes are AR floor standers that have been fastened to the ceiling and they provide ambiance. The rear surrounds will be replaced with Heresy 2s and the back speaker will be the other Heresy 1. I am looking for a projector and screen to fill the big space in the middle of the front wall and hope to have that bought and installed in the next year or so. Hunt
Nic - That is some serious firepower. (not to mention the cable). Looks pretty awesome. Can't imagine the sound. Good work. ( try some higher rez photos sometime).
nicholtl
Thanks for the nice words, guys! And sanman, of course you're invited if you're ever down here. Bring your really cute kid too! Wayne, I love your setup. All those speakers against that VERY cool stone wall is rad! All heritage too...I'm jealous... You're right about the projector/screen combo though. That would seriously MAKE your theater. And yeah...I have an affinity for blue lights...
bchild311
WHOA! Amazing setup Nich. Freakin' hell I can't imagine the power your home sucks up! Next time lets have some better pics huh? Sheesh. A setup like that a mans' gotta have some camera skillz right? Seriously sweet theater ...
colterphoto1
Damn Nick- parteee down! Bet you get some leg tonite fosho! Nice 'artsy' pix btw, nothing like ambient light and the pbl's (pretty blue lights)! yyyeeeooowww Michael
nicholtl
The blurriness was done intentionally, with a slowed shutter speed and my own dimmable ambient light sources (no flashes here). Ironically, it's not the system that gets the ladies. Guys seems to like it better. But the bar. Oh, the bar...
J.4knee
Nick, That is one seriously sic rig! Gee I thought the blurriness was an attribute of the bar...
CAS
D*** Nick. Looks like a nuclear power plant. Very similar to how I would set up a room, however if my living room ever approached anything close to that my wife would chase me with a weapon..... That may be the reason for the blurry camera work. And yes, truly sweet home theatre.
