    • I can tell you from owning several pairs of forte II's over the years and now a pair of forte IV's that Klipsch only used that shelf in the original forte.
    • Thanks for the kind thoughts. wanna thank you for sharing this. This video is extremely profound. I listened to it twice. We now know based on this video you posted what the purpose of that tilted shelf is for on the lower inside of the forte cabinet and this finally answers that question. This tilted shelf made a monumental difference, in fact the speaker cabinet was completely un functional without it. interestingly, he stated in the interview that Klipsch still uses this tilted shelf.
    • I have two each woofers. They fit Klipsch Palladium P-37, P-27’s and P-17. theae are brand new in the box from the Klipsch factory. $250 each.   I can’t upload pictures for unknown reason.
    • Here are the track listings SIDE A shown here. ...and side B track listing here.  You may know some of these artists...   Ok, not sure of my next time to listen, as I have a near full work week coming up. (I'm semi retired, but getting called back in!), enjoy the music, I will check in when I can.  Cheers! 🍷
    • Hello friends.  Another spin for Sunday afternoon.  This album came out in 1972-73.  I bought 3 copies from the local record shop back in the day, brand new because they were a great deal.  The is promotion for Altec speakers in the top studios, including A&M!   Here is the cover, gate fold view with Altec speakers and photos from the studio with chief engineer Larry Levine. And the rear cover with all the new albums released that year and featured in this record.
    • Thank you for the picture, that was the last thing what I didn’t know. I thought it would make sense to put the speaker on the back.    Yes, I bought it directly this morning, the seller was great. I think the speaker will arrive next Thursday or Friday.    Are you from Germany? I still need another one, but that’s not so urgent.    Greetings - Q.
    • There´s nothing difficult to mention , the minus phase ( black ) with it´s poleshoe from the woofer is the small chassis connector , the plus phase ( red ) with it´s poleshoe the bigger chassis connector . As the woofer is very heavy it´s better to replace the new one by placing the RF7 II on the back      I have just seen that you have already bought the woofer, the price was fair.
    • Upon further inspection in comparison I can see that at some point it's life somebody has changed the speaker binding posts. Someone also removed the game pots and in their place moved the RCA input jacks. So now I have two holes where the jacks used to be and input jacks where the gain knobs used to be. It's like being an audio detective!
    • You are welcome... yes, that should do it. Correctly connect the plus and minus+- wires and may need to gently pry open with a small screwdriver or knife blade after removing screws. When you open, check your wires for connection. More than 1 person has replaced when not needed. Sometimes just loose connection so, check connection on the back, etc. from the power source. Another check is to try supposed bad speaker to a known good source with a short speaker wire... @Quentin-Mania
    • You're absolutely correct that that is the same model. Thank you so much for that!   After going through that thread and seeing an image with the exact writing on the bottom of the authors amplifier I am 100% sure that I have that same exact amplifier in my setup right now. If you compare the writing on the bottom of his to the writing of the one I posted in my first post it's identical. Looking at the author's location they are in Florida. I am in Baltimore. This amp is traveled. I understand that Will Vincent is on the west coast somewhere maybe Idaho? Already you guys and gals have helped me figure out some of this amplifiers history. Whenever I have pieces like this I absolutely love it and love finding where they've been and to know how they travel to end up in my room!
