  1. Belles from New Jersey. Just rolled in the door after a thankfully uneventful 12 hour drive. Had a great weekend with family, and a nice Klipsch score only 10 minutes away.... Yes, they are oak (for all of you oak haters....), but they are in very nice shape overall, need a little cabinet work and new crossovers. Will be adding them to my project queue....

  3. I don't understand the question, but there are many, many things I don't understand. I'm okay with that. I'd just like to say that "The Klipsch Forum" seems to be going down the drain. Why? I'm really not sure, but to say that posts in the "Right This Minute" thread are meaningless and will not count as "posts" is pretty unfair to music lovers and Klipsch lovers. I think PWK would agree and Boxx would certainly agree. If listening to music dosen't count, I'm in the wrong place. I call BullShit! But, that is me and there are many other places on the internet I can go and feel like my posts are valued. It's been a long and very enjoyable run. Thank you and may God bless you and keep you all. Thank you for letting me participate on this once great forum. Dennie

  6. I can see PM not counting as regular post but, anything that is a thread should count IMHO. I think the protected thread has merit. A lot of the recent discussion on the forum has been concerning who is included and who is excluded. I think Chad pick a 5000 post count as a metric based on a forum participationship. Klipsch can set whatever metric they want without explanation. Changing criteria on which post counts and don't count in our totals does not seem to be the right track. Amy was a great moderator and the current mods are also great and trying to do their job to the very best of their abilities. Klipsch needs to be solid on what it is doing on this issue and not go back and forth. Make a decision and stick to it! This will stop endless discussion on this topic!

  8. Mr. Sancho, I am at a crossroads of my long, and rather dull life...however, you have a wonderful chance to help me become the exciting, dynamic person I have always dreamed of being. So, having said that, which toenail fungus treatment would you recommend? Lamisil AT, or Fungi-Nail? I am anxiously awaiting your masterful reply.

  9. That was in consideration, however that wouldn't exactly be a better solution. A BETTER solution would be to base it off the reputation system, but there currently isn't a way to do that with the stock forums.

  10. Post count... end to a means, or a means to an end? Regardless, from where I sit post count wise, it serves as a substantial form of my entertainment. By the time I near that 5k mark, the thread will cease to exist, the rules will have changed, or I will have ceased to exist. I am a long standing member of another forum (since Dec. '05). I have all of 15 posts there, yet I frequent it daily. I oft times enjoy the lurking more than the participation. Post on friends!

  14. Mr. Sancho, I'm going to cook for our July 4th get-together. Ribs, butt, brisket, wings. I noticed most of the wings in the packs are left wings. Do you think my redneck friends will be offended? I asked my wife but she don't give a cluck.

  22. Exactly, many times algae can clog that pipe, just from being wet and summer temps, it grows like crazy until it covers the inside. Might not have been the problem but I have seen that happen before, same thing happens on window units until they can't drain out the outside.

  24. Back in the day when I played at plumbing we did it a little different in hotels. The units were so far from the outside of the buildings, the emergency overflow pipes were put directly over the bathroom sinks. You'd see it if there were a problem but it would drip where it wouldn't cause any damage.

  25. Yelling for you , or AT YOU Morning guys, has cooled down here a bit, car issue hopefully solved looks like the wires are original as they are very brittle at the ends and breaking, got bored and pulled the wire off cyl 1 and found it broken at the plug end, performed a temp repair as I did on cyl 2, Off to get a wire set today Hopefully not to Expensive Later Joe, it's time to take your oldest, and make a auto junk yard visit, $5bucks and you can replace every dam spark wire...... All for that except every Junk Yard near me was shut down B-4 I moved here, its weird there are at least 3 closed yards in less than a 5 mile radios. Been curious about weather the county or state came out with laws etc... that forced them out on the side:: went to advance auto to pick up the wires and they had 2 sets , 49.99, and 41.99, salesman says the 49.99 were better wires, I asked whats the warranty, He replies they are both Lifetime warranty , Ill take the 41.99 please. since I am already at the parts store I price an oil change FREAKING 30.00 for 1 gallon of OIL (Insert middle finger) so I take a look at 10w30 instead off 5w20, and there sets Rotella 10w30 for 18.00 a gallon I know the rotella is used in rigs driving over the road so I figure it will be good enough in my 120,000 mile ford

  30. You'll pass your lights...Will that stand up in court? You’re honor, i know my lights were on because i passed them. The speed of light in your reference frame as, v = (c − u)/(1 − u/c). For any speed u less than c this gives v = c so the speed of light is the same for you. But if u = c the formula degenerates to zero divided by zero; a meaningless answer Travis…i’m impressed. Not me I almost got a headache from reading that.

Some of my "best work" was in there. Including Oh #%@! Moment Of The Day which I didn't intend to put in the BS section. Have most of the images... may start over as I have a few more..

  38. Great craftsmanship. These will become an heirloom I am sure. How do you plan to seal off the inside of this cabinet? I am sure when you seal the wood on the exterior it will fill any gaps in the dovetails, but you may want to do some extra work on the interior to keep these bad boys from letting out too much air. Heresy's were never totally air tight or acoustic suspension design but you don't want to have it leaking in too many areas. A good dampening on the inside may also help deaden the reaction of this hard wood. Again, very nicely done.

  40. Stand pipe is a good idea, for a back up, maybe over flow.
    2 points
  41. That wasn't the problem, I have that. The evap drain pan runs over to a 2" stand pipe/ I'm ASSUMING there's a p-trap below that dumps into a vent (wet vent). The 2" stand pipe is what plugged up. The reason i was informed to run it to the eves, was to see it actively dripping (into the flower bed)

  42. Chit, iv delt w/same. Run an another drain 3/4 pvc tapped near the same place on the Pan, run this down hill out to the eves, done. do a little P-trap with a couple of 90s, i never trust one drain, and now you know why.

  43. Hey all. As you may or may not remember (sometimes I forget) I'm in the middle of a bathroom gut and remodel. I had grandiose plans of what I would accomplish this weekend after having been out of state last weekend and accomplishing nothing then. As I was on my way to the kitchen I noticed a wet spot on the living room carpet and asked my wife what it was. She said, "I think I spilled water there last night". You "think" you spilled water? You don't "know" if you spilled water? Alarms in my head went off. The Berber carpet in out living room will bead up water spills and it won't soak in. This was coming from the bottom up. Looking around, I could see the oak floor planks edges in an adjacent room starting to raise slightly. CRAP! There's no water sources close to the wet carpet so that only left one thing. AC condensation. Sure enough, the drain in the attic (where the evaporator is) had stopped up and water was going inside and down the walls and weeping across the floors. Not only did I get to spend some quality time in the attic clearing the drain (if you don't have a drain king in you arsenal GET ONE), I had to pull an entire corner of my living rooms carpet and pad to dry. We ran fans all weekend and it looked pretty good this morning. What a mess. The bathroom project got put off again.

  44. Mike, i saw that same tour…fabulous. i was able several years ago to talk about that revolving stage with Rick Wakeman. That was the Tormato tour. Rick told me that he loved that stage; but, he really liked the revolving stage that they used on the Union Tour (it was much bigger). High calibre musicians those guys.
