  1. New they are about 120000-150000. Every 8 years yoh need to replace the cables. If you have to have someone do it. That will set you back close to 10 grand and thats on a 1200sj a weekly rent on one of those can run $3000 depending on age.Repairs can kill you on these. Have a leak, good luck getting it on a job site with strict regulations. I dont know what 180s run for a purchase price. They're a whole new game. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

  4. Good evening...... So The BOSS and I have been at the shop for the last 17 years. During those years there have been some reall crazy things to be rememberd. One of those years we refer to it as ......."year of the flies"..... Some 12 years ago the weather was getting warm....spring was coming. The shop is in Carroll County, North West of Baltimore. Carroll County is still a rural county....lots of farms....horse....cows...crops... Durning the spring time you can smell the manure in the air....also spring and summer brings out the bugs. We started to notice that we were getting a lot of flies at the shop. We didn't think a lot about it....we just figured.....ahhhh it's spring..... not the case this year. It seemed like each day there were more and more. By mid spring there was a full invasion of flies. It was a plague of biblical proportion.....I'm talking thousands and thousands of flies each day..... Each day we had to hang new fly strips. We must have went through tweenty strips a day. By the end of the day they were full. Sometimes I would change them out mid day cuz they could not hold any more flies. I would buy fly spray in gallons. When we left the shop for lunch I would close the shop all up. I would stick a hose in the jug and use shop air to spray/mist the shop. When we returned from lunch the fly bodies would be all over the shop floor. Walking accross the floor you could feel and hear them crunch and pop. Yea it was nasty...The bodies would be all over my toolbox, the work benches just every. Most of the time I would use the shop-vac to suck em up. One afternoon we had a young lady picking up here car. She was trying to write a check at the desk. She was waving her hands around trying to stop the flies from landing on her. She said "are the flies always this bad here?" We have never seen her again.... Just up the road from the shop is a small housing development....oh yea the flies were there too. One morning before we left for work we were watching the news. They had reporters at that housing development doing a story on the flies. The flies were all in peoples houses.....yea nasty... Come to find out that there were several farmers that spred manure on there fields and didn't plow it in. This just made prime breading grounds for the flies. I guess the maggots just loved the shitt. The pic below is a fly strip that's been hanging in the shop for the last 12 years...yea I know kinda gross. Over the years I just kinda forgot about it... it's the one lone strip that I just never took down. Even though it looks full alot of them have dropped off over the years. Yup "year of the flies" never forget it!! MKP :-)

  10. Another nice day in store....azaleas opening early. The DOT is dedicating a bridge to a deceased HP trooper at one today. Same bridge we use to drag race across in the 60s & 70s. Same trooper that use to pull us At the end of the ceremony vintage cars will cross the bridge first. I will be driving a friend's 67' Chevelle with a 454 ci motor. Should be fun......

  11. That's a little too high for me. I have a job coming up that's 42' in the air. I've been fighting an inner ear nerve problem for the past 2 years, I get dizzy. I will be the ground man on this job, I just don't like heights anymore. I envy you guys that can hit the skies. Actually my new motto at work is….2 pumps on a barber chair is high enough for me

  25. Travis - Rose and I are here for you. Let me know if there is anything we can do for you or your parents. As you always are. He is progressing well, but slow. This is Day 7 in the hospital.. Mom is stuck up in Ft. Worth waiting for surgery to fix her broken leg. The big thing is when they cut him loose somewhere here in the next 5 to 7 days I doubt they will clear him for 3 hour car ride, or airplane ride, so hopefully they will clear him for ambulance ride from Houston up to rehab center near Mom. One small step at a time. Travis Best wishes my friend.....

  29. Hey Guys, hope someone can help me with the issue. I am moving to a new apartment and i am thinking to expand my current speaker system(currently 2.1) with 2 Surround Speakers (RS 62 preferred). Normally it is recommended to mount the surround speakers to the sidewall. But due to the room layout this is not possible because on one side there is a window and the room is not a square shape. The Room layout with the speakers drawn in (RS 1 and 2 in Position behind the listening position) Hörposition is "listening position" on the picture. And 4.57m is 14.99 feet and 6.01m is 19.7 feet. I am german, sorry The blue things are windows, by the way. My questions: Is it a big problem to mount the Speakers behind the listener directly to the wall? Is there a problem when mounting them behind the listener if one speaker on the wall is not directly next to a wall like the Speaker(RS1) on the picture? As you can see the RS2 would be directly "in the room" with no sidewall next to it. Do you have different suggestions maybe?

  41. Not yet, I have watched a few of the video links posted here. Found a few others, and have SLOWLY been checking and cleaning everything. I only have one more problem to work out and it will be ready to use. Main problem was just hard grease. I think I can fix the last problem with a little more cleaning. The cart I have is factory I think? No numbers I could find, but has a weird symbol on the front of cart. Will try to get a pic up soon, but am very busy with work right now. Thanks to everyone for all the help. If I get it working good, going to build a nice wooden home for it? I have an extra plinth for it if needed. Let me know.

  42. Man, am I tired of the bathroom remodel! Spent the last two days in the attic with wiring. It is always amazing how some people wire a house! I had to run three new circuits to isolate the bathroom now down to bare studs and to run a new circuit to the small bathroom (found that the small bath was just tied into the bedroom receptacle when I pulled the wall off behind the tub tile surround. I also added a new circuit for the dining room since part of it was tied into the bath I am remodeling. I added four circuits total. Isolate the bath receptacles in the remodel and add a lighting (since I am adding a vent in the bathroom) circuit for said bath. Judy and I decided when we retire it is off to the mountains to build a new house so we don't have to work on a structure anymore! She has been grooming for 48 years, so to retire, we have to move. Her dog customers won't let her retire if we stay here!

  48. Ok so from the sound of it we can even simplify this by having a short run such as 1.5' to 3' cable. Therefor no need for the balanced output or transformer.
