That’s ridiculous to spend that much money on a pair of speakers and no one willing to walk back and check the serial numbers3 points

19 yo, 1985 A fellow Army soldier invited some of us to his room, to listen to a Twisted Sister Laserdisc . I didn't understand how that great sound, came out of a tiny little speaker. Heresy. Later that year in a nightclub, I heard Khorns. I was blown away. I looked at the name and remembered them, and said someday. 1996, got the home theater bug, 4 KLF 10's, center, sub. 2010, Chorus 2. 2011 LaScala. 2017 Jubilee's... Bingo Bango. I will have a pair of Heresy, Cornwall, and maybe Khorns before I'm finished...3 points

I've changed the signal chain for my current living room setup so I'm not sure I have the answer to your question. I used to plug the cable into the TV, then the TV into the AVR via SPDIF cable, audio only. When setup this way it's easy to turn on the TV and simply change the AVR to the audio source you want, music, etc. I ran it that way because I used the TV's tuner and I didn't have HDMI out from the TV. Now I use the setup box and use HDMI into the TV. I'll experiment with it and see if I can separate the TV signal and different audio source. Edit: I'm back from my experiment. With my current setup where everything starts in the AVR I was NOT able to watch TV and listen to another source such as the radio. As I said above it was only when the cable signal went IN the TV and OUT to the AVR was I able to watch one source and listen to another.2 points

It was late in life for me to have Klipsch speakers. I was 49 and acquired a pair of Palladium 38s. I've heard Klipsch speakers many times before that, mostly concert venues of all sizes.2 points

Her name was Lola... Mid-1990's. I was in my early 40's. Had a small living room but wanted something decent. Hit a couple of hi-fi stores and ended narrowing it down to Mirage and Klipsch. Went with KG 3.5's, awesome speakers for their size and money, and haven't looked back.2 points

Well not so fast; the instructions were wrong about hardware stack up on the number of washers on each bolt and the darn thing wouldn't light. A call to Rec Tec and customer support ran thru the diagnostics. A re-seat of the ceramic heater cured that and it was good to go. Comes with the company owner's personnel cell number. Holding a steady temp (lazy dude phone app via WiFi)2 points

Hmmmmm, I've heard good and bad on pellet grills so let us know your thoughts. I almost bought one last year but had my eye on a Weber Spirit 3-burner. I've ALWAYS cooked on a Weber and love them. Kinda tough to smoke on them but I guess you can. Oldest daughter is an "extreme" couponer who is always looking for a glitch in a price on something somewhere. I'm clueless as to how she does it but one day she called... "Dad, gonna be home?" Showed up w/her two kids in the car and had an un-boxed Weber shoved everywhere in her little car. I was like, seriously??? How'd you know that was the exact grill I was going to buy? She said she found a glitch on a big chain's price @ checkout on this grill... Priced in the ads at $499.95 but when she checked out it came up $49.95 so she paid for it and used a local pickup to get it... Works like a charm 😎 Don't ask me cause I'm clueless how she does it... lol She has so many TP and paper towels in her basement I bought her a de-humidifer... Soggy TP? Not moi!!! 😂2 points

Not all source components and amps sound the same. I would recommend lots of clean power with the capability of doing tight bass. Components that are bright need not apply. The thing that is little understood is efficiency doesn't mean everything and is not the end all. Component synergy is the key.1 point

that's what they say HaHaHa Wonder if they go anti-clockwise in Australia. @Ceptorman I bet our heat index is cooler thru July and Aug. Indy does get warm.1 point
