Panelhead
Will there be new versions of the Heritage family after the Klipschorns?
richieb
=== good things come to those that wait. There was still crossover fine tuning being done during the Pilgramage in May. We listened to a just completed pair in the Hope sound room and were reminded this was Not the final version.

There seem to have been quite a few changes, some of them sounding very important! -- Larry

Hasty
It looks like the cabinetry on the new Khorn has excellent fit and finish even on the back. There was a post a few months ago where someone was harping about the screws being asymmetrical on the back of the old model. Most thought it was a non-issue, but it's nice to see Klipsch has stepped up their game. If I had an appropriate room for Khorns I'd own a set. MEH Synergy
I like em. Solid refinements they have made. Hope they can move a reasonable volume of the new khorns. Strong work as usual klipsch.
jjptkd
MIDRANGE "According to Paul W. Klipsch, “the midrange is where we live” and is one of the most critical parts in any loudspeaker design. The Klipschorn’s midrange utilizes a 1 ½” compression drivers mated to a high efficiency exponential horn that maximizes the system’s power and performance. As a result, less distortion is produced by the amplifier and by the loudspeaker. That means clarity, accuracy and remarkable tonal definition." Anybody else catch this? Horn lens looks the same as the Cornwall III mid crossover point has been upped to 450hz? Maybe its the new 1 1/2" mid driver? 😎
Deang
Nope, still the Atlas. They are trying to list the VC diameter, which is 2”. It’s a misprint.

scott0527
Curious about closing in the back, so now tight corner placement is not as crucial. If it was that simple, why didn't they do that a millions years ago? Is that a sacrifice to market demands or will these really sound just as good as the non-closed in backs that are tightly sealed up into a corner wall. What would Paul say? PS. Sorry, long time no post. Might be interested in a new pair of Klipschorns early next year.
