tommyboy
Nice setup Nezff! I really like the "wireless" sub, lol. How does the sub sound?
nezff
I love it. I heard they are going up in price soon, but you can still get them for $350 shipped.

That way the tweeters will be pretty much evenly lined up horizontally. If you're worried about ventilation to your receiver having it inside the entertainment center you could always get a small fan and mount it in the back blowing over the top of the receiver. Also, if at all possible, I'd pull the tower speakers out so they're flush with the wall. You're probably getting some of what are called early reflections from the speakers being so close to the wall and if you'd pull them out a few more inches it will help a lot. shortstack31489
does that stand vibrate that is sitting on the sub?
djnenenyc
does that stand vibrate that is sitting on the sub? Haven't had one problem with that stand and speaker sitting on the Sub. No vibration or sound issues. Just pure clean Klipsch Reference sound. []

djnenenyc
Thanks Youthman...that's what is left of my collection. Wifey bought me a curio and said "whatever you can fit in here, you can keep". Sold alot of 80's collectibles on eBay. Still have lots boxed up to sell. Good thing though..place now looks less cluttered. []
Moderators Youthman Posted April 27, 2009 Moderators Share Posted April 27, 2009 It just takes me back to my childhood when I used to play with them. When Transformers movie came out, I took my son to see it. He then began collecting the new transformers. It was funny to show him what the G1 Bumblebee looked like. I think it took about 5 seconds to transform him. Now it takes about 5 minutes. LOL.

psg
I'd also relocate the sub (if you can make the speaker stand higher again), maybe next to or just behind seating.
djnenenyc
Unfortunately it's the only spot i have for the sub. I did try placing it towards the back of the room next to the seating area when i first purchased the Sub. Was not pleased with the result compared to the bass i get from where it presently is located.
