Would 12ga. 50ft. cables perform better than 14ga. 25ft. cables?   Opinions? Data?

Thanks for responding, the equations, and link Edgar. I know the article in the link you provided states “In a conical horn, the flare rate changes throughout the horn,…. In an exponential horn, the flare rate is constant.” I definitely know my scenario is not an exponential horn, if I had to guess I think the closest is conical, that’s what I’m trying to confirm. If so, then m is going to vary and the Fc will not be a single value. I’m hoping I’m wrong and a single Fc can be calculated somehow. I’ve tried to use what you provided but alas, I’m not that skilled, and after much consternation, haven’t been able to figure out the answer, can you guide me further? I can’t figure out a number for the taper rate variable, m, as one travels down the length of the horn, or if it’s a constant or variable. Do you know?

The 3636 is not the right transformer/autoformer for the AA xover and the subsequent K400/401. I read somewhere here that the original T2a is available to buy new again? I had a Crites xover in my old LaScala for many years. Two years ago I found an original T2a Autoformer in a cellar box. A striking difference in sound, not a bit different but fundamentally better, no more tinny sound. Before you spend money on the wrong Autoformer, please check here in the forum to see if you can find an old or new T2a.

I would be happy to see Michigan go 1 and 11 every year as long as that 1 was against OSU. It's called The Game for a reason. Long before cable TV, ESPN, people talking all day long about things they think they know just to fill 24 hours of content, there was The Game. Bo V Woodie, the 10 year war.   Michigan was pretty terrible this year, but they made it all right in Columbus. I didn't even watch the college playoffs this year. I'd already won my bowl game the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The same day it's been played for as long as I can remember.   By my count it's four in a row right now. That's an entire graduating class if Buckeyes that never received a pair if gold pants.    College football started to go downhill when the playoffs showed up with dozens of worthless bowl games that drag throughout the fall and winter calendar. All you need is a six-win season and you go to a bowl game. Heck Michigan beat Alabama in a bowl game and I didn't even watch it. Because it didn't matter. Orange Sugar Cotton Rose all on New Year's Day used to be magical. And it was over the first day of every year. Most of that time for Michigan or OSU to go to one of those New Year's Day bowl games, They had to beat the other one first. So if you won the Rose bowl after a perfect 12-0 season and tide for the national championship with Nebraska, it didn't really matter cuz you'd already beaten Ohio State to get there.   If this had been a four team playoff year OSU would have watched the Ducks on TV. But this current format is better for extracting Fab Duel dollars and that matters more.    Congratulations Ohio State, on your national championship and still having the best marching band! For real, you earned it. But we all know deep down what Jack Sawyer really came back for and he/they missed the mark against a mediocre UofM team. And the failed on their own field. I know that painful, Lingering sting will last longer any than any confetti flying on some distant day in the middle of January.   Go 💙 Blue!
