  2. I think so. There is an ethernet port. From Bluesound's website: ------- PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS. Bring music into your NODE using HDMI eARC, Wi-Fi or Ethernet, Apple AirPlay 2, aptX™ HD Bluetooth, or USB, to hear audio content from streaming services, TV, and your own music library. Listen to your music through your HiFi system or through wired or wireless headphones, by connecting to the RCA, TOSLINK optical, aptX™ HD Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, Apple devices, or other Bluesound or BluOS players. -------- I have one unit connected to my router using an ethernet connection and the other is controlled and streams wirelessly. If you can connect via ethernet, I think that is the best way.
  3. I was going to put it in the alerts until I read the rules.

  5. I would maybe look on eBay for just the subwoofer from the system.
  6. I eluded to these in my other listing for my La Scalas, but I thought I should maybe have a separate ad for these. I took delivery from Dean this past July and they have been used hardly at all as my LS are in a 2nd system. As always, Dean did a fantastic job on these and his craftsmanship is very evident! With all the parts and Dean's work, I have approx. $1,700cnd or $1,250usd into them. Asking price is $1,100cnd ( $800usd ) plus shipping if required. PayPal, F&F PS: price is CND, so that is a 38% discount in USDs. Dean's Xovers could be shipped, or... If timing is right and we can save some shipping expenses: I will be in Lansing, MI next weekend (May 17-19) for a softball tournament and could bring with me for those that might be interested. Or In Knoxville/Nashville, for another tourney (May 31 - June 04). Thanks for looking, Tom
  7. Lol...homemade cream of tomato soup with smoked paprika anyone?
  8. I almost forgot how much I love this album....nah...no way that I could possibly forget. 😊
  9. @Jammer-JDW The walnut looks dry, from the appearance in your pictures. You might want to apply some Boiled Linseed Oil or similar treatment.
  10. Why not simply provide members a good deal instead of having members bid against the rest of the world? to me, this site is for MEMBERS who are looking out for each other. Not for members to try and gain the highest profit off of fellow members. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. In my opinion, you shouldn't be able to come in here and advertise your ads on Ebay. Gaining the highest profit margin off of a fellow member is, to me, disrespectful.
  11. We were at Rock City for an event, and got home about 9:00, auger beat from all the walking we did. When we got home we just showered and went to bed. Forgot about the solar event... Maybe tonight will still be ok. Jonas' girlfriend got some nice pics in Merritt, BC.
  12. Maybe this is the replacement ? Interestingly the crossover on this model is 750 Hz, very close to the Cornwall 4.
  13. Weekend Bump Go Pro or Go Home!! Note: I can ship if you arrange
  14. Thanks Woofers! They really are a nice match and with all the work that Ben ( Leestereo @ Audiokarma ) put into the AU-717 it should be worry free for another 40 plus years. One of the big issues with this vintage of amps from Sansui (as well as other brands) is the adhesive that was used to secure all the caps would break down over time and turned very corrosive. And in turn causing failures. Ben did the very tedious job of cleaning all this old glue off the boards before replacing the caps.
  15. It's possible that all our ear piercing highs and shouty mids are driving everyone insane around here LOL.
  16. I'm not sure why you always seem to feel offended, but...carry on.
  17. I have a pair of Heritage Klipsch La Scala and a pair of Heritage Klipsch Chorus speakers I bought while over seas serving in the U.S. ARMY back 86 to 89. I'm looking for a good receiver that can drive my speakers. I prefer Marantz, and seek one that pushes between 100-150 continuous watts per channel, seeking 5 channel to run both pair of speakers plus my powered subwoofer, I have CD player and Phono as well. what can you recomend me getting please ?My Name is John
  18. Hi, I've had my promedia 2.1 for two and a half years now and today when I was plugging stuff in around my subwoofer I heard a loud pop come from inside it. Now the light on the speaker is completely dead, I've tried multiple outlets to no avail, and it makes me confident in thinking that a fuse has blown within the subwoofer. I would repair it if there weren't so many conflicting guides online on how to do so (plus I have the newer system and I don't have a soldering gun). So rather than buying an entirely new promedia 2.1 subwoofer (which can be $60-$80) I'm wondering if there's any other subwoofers that are compatible with the connections my speakers have that I could buy as a replacement. I'm not a audiophile so I would have no idea where to even look for something like that, and it's hard to find a direct answer when you're looking at forums from 2010 that are definitely outdated. I really don't wanna switch from these speakers, I've absolutely loved them since I first got them and I'd like to continue using them for more years to come Thank you!
  19. Sansui sounds great with Klipsch speakers. GLWYS
  20. Sent you pm on the upgraded crossovers
  21. Hey guys, I am getting ready to retire and my wife and I will be listing our home soon so we (mostly me) need to declutter the house and free up some space. So, up for sale is my fantastic F8. Asking $4,000 cnd... which would be approx. $2900 usd. https://www.canuckaudiomart.com/details/650103003-first-watt-f8/ If timing is right and we can save some shipping expenses: I will be in Lansing, MI next weekend (May 17-19) for a softball tournament and could bring with me for those that might be interested. Or In Knoxville/Nashville, for another tourney (May 31 - June 04). Cheers, Tom
