Morning all... Really glad you heard from BSM Carl.... The best to BSM ...... Thanks for the pics of your cats and the Chinchilla. The BOSS and I have always had cats... Not that we dislike dogs... we love dogs... but dogs take more work than cats...imho... With as much time that we are out of the house I don't think it's fair to the dog...... Well I'm glad yesterday is over...... The BOSS had to have a "lady" procedure done at the hospital yesterday. We had to be at the hospital at 5:30 am yesterday. I was up at 3:00 am with all kinds of thought in my head. She had to put under for the procedure.. So yea I was concerned... But hey all is good So yesterday I was jumping through my A$$ all day. Got a crazy amount of work that dropped off over the weekend. Alot of unscheduled work... man I got em stacked up... a few weeks ago I was saying "where's all the work?" I got this week and next week booked... OH Yea... OK gang two cups coffee is done...... gotta roll.... check in later... MKP :-)8 points

Yeah Steve will look kinda sheepish when he returns.....neglecting us for so long5 points

That's the truth, and ketchup. For a while there I thought they stopped selling ketchup in California and Del Taco closed and Steve bolted for the next closest state with those essentials.5 points

We had a chinchilla, Max, that loved live trombone music. Being nocturnal, the only sure-fire way to entice Max from his hiding place during the day was playing our son's trombone. It had to be live; recorded trombone music had no effect. Live saxophone got no response. Eventually, just the sound of opening the case would get Max's attention. FYI, it takes 300 chinchillas to make a coat. Pause . That's because their hands are so tiny. Nancy cringed each of the many times I told that joke, but it always worked.4 points

Mornin' all. Hope your Mom's Day was good. Had fun with family and kept the tunes rolling. Gonna try to work in some jammin' time with my guitar bud this afternoon despite his recent (mild) stroke. He's a pretty amazing guy and insists he's ready. Cheers.4 points

Pictures dtel? We want to see what she looks like Don't let Christy see this. Tuckered out this morning. Spent yesterday removing carpet and pad from several rooms at LF's new place. Had to cut it up for pick up by sanitation guys. More to do today. Later met my bud from LA at Captain Bill's.....a bar with 9 volleyball courts. We had a couple of beers and watched college girls play a few matches Concerned about Steve. Have sent him two PMs and no response. Not like him. Well worker bees.....go out there and make us proud. Where is Luther? Miss his photos. Gary..... !4 points

i know it isn't the black with copper frame but I just got the poster back from Michaels. I have other frames that are all the same going in the basement as well so I got the frame to match. And the blue comes close to some of the colors in the room. To be honest I didn't know what color of matting to go with and had the lady doing it have the say and it looked good to me. The poster is a very unique one with the colors it has in it. I move into my new house in under a month and will post another picture after it is up in my basement.3 points

Made two rock lobster tails, three prime grade ribeye's, a wild caught sockeye salmon filet on a soaked cedar plank, and eight chicken thighs marinated in extra virgin olive oil, sweet baby rays Vidalia onion BBQ sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Smoke box in the grill filled with Stubbs wood chip blend. Made asparagus spears in the oven drizzled with olive oil seasoned with fresh ground pink Himalayan salt, and telluride peppercorns, garlic & onion powder and a half lime squeezed over the tips. Mint Juleps as a salute to the Kentucky derby.2 points

Denise surprised me with tickets for my birthday for the night races in Bristol for August! It's been years since I've been to Bristol and never to the night races so I'm looking forward to it. 52 rows up at the start finish line, perfect!2 points

Yes and no. They look very nice, but my wife hated it when she came home to find Belles in her living room. IMO, one of the prettiest speakers ever made, but they are large.2 points

More people need to discover the amazing goodness of "Yukon Gold", labeled "Gold" taters. Night and day compared to Russett. WOW. And, secondly or seperately, the cream/ or sour cream Horshradish dip for Rib roast or any Beef. Yorcshire pudding is still in my dreams for some future time. WOW. Lars2 points

Happy Saturday all....Went car shopping with my daughter, she ended up with a 2016 Kia Sportage....I'm tired...I picked my daughter up at 7:15, together we picked up my sister because my sister is simply intimidating. The three of us went car shooping and at the dealers by 9:00am. After all is said and done, this includes going back to my daughters to get the 2004 Honda CRV with 191,000 and handing over the title.to it, it was about 13:15. Anyway cheers all. This is what I kinda feel like after car shopping....I just wanna stick my head in something...LOL https://vine.co/v/ixr0uex97VA1 point

Hey, I thought we weren't supposed to discuss Republican politicians here? I hate to break it to you, but from where I'm sitting both the 'presumptive candidates' are well discribed by Napoleon. He called Talleyrand 'Shat in silk stockings'. The only difference here is one candidate is wearing a business suit, the other a pantsuit.1 point

Looks good Jim. I'm game. I like potato vodka the best but there's some really good grain ones out there as well. Pete, Cabo is just about my favorite too.1 point

Afternoon all.... Oh boy....not a good day.... The BOSS had to put her mom back in the hospital again this morning. So The BOSS has been dealing with alot of today. I won't bore you with all crapp but this all could have been avoided if someone from the doctor's office and the doctor gave a shitt..... To say the health care system "sucks" would be an understatement... It's not like my mother-in-law is a new patient she's been going there for the last twenty years... Nobody gives a shitt anymore...It seems like I give more of a shitt about my customers cars that these health care professionals give for people.... I think I need a martini ........ NOT.... OK rant over... Chuck good vibes coming your way for your friend... The BOSS just called..... there taking mom back home...seems all is ok.....for now... Gotta work...I think I'm gonna put some music on....time to power up the KP's Later... MKP :-)1 point

My first vehicle: 1959 Dodge Post Office truck (purchased used at a government auction) - inline slant 6 engine - push button automatic transmission w/overdrive on the dash - one seater - http://www.onallcylinders.com/2014/01/20/top-10-engines-time-6-chrysler-225-slant-six/ My second vehicle: 1966 Renault R8 - rear engine - push button automatic transmission on the dash - leather seats front-and-back My third vehicle: 1969 VW Squareback (Type 3) - the first fuel injected engine by VW - air cooled (not very well) "pancake" 4 cylinder rear engine located underneath the floor boards - three on the tree? (or on the floor???) - the heater was a flap door underneath the front seats with a vent to bring engine heat into the passenger compartment (a fan was an extra cost add-on) My fourth vehicle: 1968 International Harvester Travelall - inline straight 6 engine - three on the tree My fifth vehicle: 1981 Ford Ranger F-100 - inline straight 6 engine - four on the floor w/overdrive - dual fuel tanks - lasted for 350,000 miles - http://www.onallcylinders.com/2014/01/22/top-10-engines-time-4-ford-300-i6/ My current vehicle: 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Special Edition By the way, I refuse to use the contemporary vernacular and call any of these vehicles my "ride". Just like in the 60's when I refused to say "groovy", "far out" and "dude". Rant on - I can "go for a ride" and I can "take a ride" but I do not "go for a ride in my ride" . . . "I go for a ride in my car or truck or on my bicycle" - rant off. Edited to add: I will agree that there are rides at amusement parks but I have never owned any of those rides since they are for the most part "fixed in place". While I am on my "high horse" I will add that I own and I ride bikes (which is short for bicycles). I have never owned or ridden a motorbike (which is short for motorcycle).1 point

It is my very sad duty to inform the Klipsch community of the passing of our forum brother, Douglas Edwards. I received a phone call just before 10:00 pm from Dee's wife informing me of the sad news. I am in shock. I've lost my best friend. I'll post details as they become available. Tony1 point
