  2. Maplenoll air bearing table. A small compressor supplies 60psi to the tone arm and platter. The plinth is already custom in a combination of wood, aluminum, lead and Corian. The whole thing weighs in at 85 pounds.

  3. Posting at the request of Jim Hunter:. NO AFFILIATION WITH SELLER JUST POSTING BECAUSE WE BELIEVE IT'S A GREAT DEAL FOR SOMEONE!!!!! For sale: KP-600 concert SYSTEM. This system has been in storage since 2012. There are 8 stacks of KP600s with tons of EP cabling, full flying rig, Cloud 9 covers, and all other associated gear. There’s also 12 KSM-15II monitors and 2 KP452 speakers. All items are in immaculate condition and many spare parts are included. This system will dwarf Kevin Harmon’s system that he has been bringing to the annual Pilgrimage! If interested, please contact Mike Dorsett, Dorsett Productions, 251-635-0066, email: mikedorsett@bellsouth.net All of the cabling, power distribution, cases, amps etc. are worth the $20,000 asking price. I've requested pics, but have it on good advice that this system is immaculate.

  5. Decided to make a matching set and got the R-115SW. So far, this thing is impressing me quite a bit! It replaced an SW-311, which was actually really great for its size.

  12. Afternoon all.... Coffee long done.....at the shop doing my thing.... Fourm is really strange on my tablet.....haven't been on pc yet.... We had some really bad weather this weekend. One county got 6" of rain in two hours....major flood in this one small town.. Historic Ellicott City. There's some You-Tube video's of the water taking out main street.... bad stuff.... The one dealer I worked for was in Ellicott City. We would go down to the historic part for lunch sometimes, really cool little town. OK...... just checking in....a good week to all MKP :-)

  15. This thread is intended to be general in nature. Make your comments, good or bad about how you feel about the Facelift 2016. This can also be a place for suggestions. +++ Note: I posed something very similar into the brand-new for 2016 Klipsch Q&A area. I've re-posted the thread here because I'm not sure if the Questions area was the right place for what I wanted to discuss. The questions area did NOT post into the RECENT POSTS area, now located on the right of the screen.

  18. I don't know much about crossovers other than their intended purpose so discount what I say appropriately. Why not get an active crossover? This way you can tinker until you get it right without trying various recipe's and having someone OCD saying that you need a better cap or something in there. Of course, they might poo-poo actives.... but it will allow you to adjust as you want on the fly.

  20. Dtel and I will be there, along with Kevin Harmon and his wife Lisa. Sure would love to see some of these Arkansas folks or anyone else wanting to attend make it down there to meet us! If you are interested in attending and would like to camp, we know the perfect place, just PM me! Christy

  21. The only instance I'd suggest Tapatalk is if you happen to visit a bunch of other Tapatalk-enabled forums. Otherwise, I don't see much of a benefit. I don't really like how it changes the look of posts, in particular.

  27. I love the new look and even though I have only played for a minute, I have already found some cool new stuff for getting to posts I want. The spinning hourglass seems to take a lot longer than it should.

  30. Yep - that's my Exodus preamp top plate. You can customize the front plate with coordinating graphics too - maybe the Discipline or Lark's Tongue graphics on the front plate! Like Matt says - it's whatever you'd like. TS Matt is a lot of fun to work with and is very accommodating! Lots of different wood and metal options to make it your "last amplifier purchase". Check 'em out!

  35. and finally completed both cabs and had to have the wife help me carry them upstairs. guessing them to be about 110lbs each. here is a pic of the slot port rounded over. i thought it turned out fantastic. and their final resting spot......for now. I'm debating on building some new subs that aren't quite so bulky. and of course implementing the oak on it somehow to tie it all together as a set. also surrounds will get new cabinets to match in the next month or so. grills for everything coming soon too.
